Erm - why? That's nothing to do with this. The property you need to set (as explained earlier in this thread) is:

Code:
lineage.updater.uri=http://lineage.teh-intar.net/api/v1/{device}/{type}

And then set the permissions to 644, otherwise the properties file is ignored.
Thank you, I did it!!!))

Simple way:
1. Create a file name local.prop
2. Edit local.prop with this line
Code:
lineage.updater.uri=http://lineage.teh-intar.net/api/v1/{device}/{type}
3. Copy it to this directory: /data
4. And set permisson 0644 rw-r--r--
5. Then reboot and check for update

Can someone help me with this migration or upgrade thing you guys are doing?

Yeah you must do that to receive OTA update
If you coming from los 14.1 you need to backup, 80%+ will fall in bootloop

Whoa 80%!!! Anyway, so i don't need to wipe anything for it? I mean like we usually do when moving to major upgrades where we need to wipe /system, /cache, /dalvik? Or just put that code then ota update will show up and it'll update like how ota updates normally gets installed on LOS?

This is personal preference - in theory you don't need to reinstall GApps but more than once I've been burned by "something" within Lineage removing the addon.d script that replaces AOSP apps with GApps.

The end result is that I ended up with 2 Calendars, 2 Clocks, 2 of some other apps, and terrible battery life/heat issues.

So personally, I *always* back up just in case, and always have a GApps zip on my phone so that if it happens again I can roll back the backup then reinstall the update *and* GApps.

Thank CloudFlare for their CDN network - I only have ~17Mb/s upload but once the first person has downloaded the image it's served entirely from CloudFlare :)

Pretty sure that's what happened to me and it messed everything up when I updated to the new build :(

Do you think what you're the smartest?
16.04 build is only for OTA

Yeah - to clarify, all the OTA updates are full builds. So you can just get the latest from there, then do the local.prop thing, and you're ready to go. In theory you can produce smaller "delta" updates so that updates are smaller to download - but I don't know how and haven't got the time to figure it out at the moment. So full builds it is.
So just installing one of the new builds won't enable otas?
