ZTE MF110 works fine here

it's just a normal USB mobile broadband stick that you put a sim card in...you can buy one unlocked from ebay, put a valid sim card with a 3G data plan in it, and it just works...you can use them in any country where you can purchase a data-enabled sim card...it's how laptops get internet access when you don't have wifi or a landline...i used my sim card from my phone to test it, and bob's your uncle
Huawei E397 4g LTE

ZTE MF112 working perfectly for me on rooted stick nexus 7 on 3UK - just had to get the APN settings right. It's 3internet and NOT three.co.uk which i first thought it was.

Anyone managed to find a data traffic monitor app that works with this type of connection?

4G Systems XS Stick W12 works fine with PPP Widget

My father keeps asking me "WHY a nexus". Now I can answer "because of this kind of things, you cannot do with other phones / tablets!"

I have a SGSIII from AT&T and would like to use its SIM card with the N7. Are there any specific "unlocked" dongles (preferably a USB stick) that have been tested on the N7 and that work with AT&T's 4G LTE?

EDIT:... and that does not cost more than my phone or the N7. I just searched for the Huawei E397 and it cost about $400... Ouch!
