I've been on Viper rom for the past several months. Today my 3g just dropped and it will not turn back on no matter what I do. Airplane, reboot..nothing. Anyone had this issue? Could it be a PRL issue?
Nah I doubt it. My G/f has Sprint, her phone is fine. A couple buddies at work have Sprint and they're fine. It's been like like the last 10-12 hours at work, they use their phones just fine while my data is 100% gone. It's most likely not a PRL issue. Try updating your data profile, but more then likely it's a Sprint issue and nothing to do with your phone. My 3g has gotten so bad I don't even try to use it anymore. If I can't connect to WiFi, I just shut data off completely. Sad that Sprint has come to that.
Did you pay your bill?Nah I doubt it. My G/f has Sprint, her phone is fine. A couple buddies at work have Sprint and they're fine. It's been like like the last 10-12 hours at work, they use their phones just fine while my data is 100% gone.
I'm on wifi now, I did a profile update and nothing. This is crazy...it's almost like I have mobile data switched off but it isn't. Never had this issue before.
Yep. It was due August 11th and I paid it August 6th.Did you pay your bill?![]()
Did you try switching to cdma only in mobile data settings?Yep. It was due August 11th and I paid it August 6th.
Thanks tho
Hmm, that worked... I've never even messed with that setting, weird that it gets borked outta nowhere.Did you try switching to cdma only in mobile data settings?
Sent from my lair.
Check your SIM card. If your towers have been upgraded to NV, 3G AND 4G data won't work if there is a problem with the SIM card. People have said the SIM only affects 4G data, but this is not true if the SIM card is removed or not detected in an NV area. Usually the phone will tell you if there is a problem with the SIM card though.Hmm, that worked... I've never even messed with that setting, weird that it gets borked outta nowhere.
Thanks a ton for the tip, really appreciate it. It is odd to me tho
same thing happened to me i actually took it to a repair place thinking it was messed up and the tech said that said that it was something to do with them testing the networks. an i know after a couple of days i was able to switch back to the LTE/CDMA mode with no issues.Hmm, that worked... I've never even messed with that setting, weird that it gets borked outta nowhere.
