3G Not Working

I don't exactly know when it happened but for a little while now, I have noticed little or no 3G connection in my phone. When I switch it to WCDMA only mode there is no network, and when I try it on another phone I get a 3g connection. I have tried flashing RUU's and even on stock, I get no signal. I have tried flashing firmware.zip from various OTA's to get it to work but still no luck. So I am stuck on 2G.

Has anyone had this situation and perhaps solved it?

What happens and why

In rare cases previously, HTC One S devices may have gotten stuck on 2G after updating to software 2.35.531.7 710RD (now discontinued). In this case, they cannot connect to 3G or 4G anywhere.

The new software version (2.35.531.10 710RD) prevents working devices from getting stuck on 2G when updating, but it does not fix devices that have the issue already.

i do not think there is a fix other than replace the phone.
