All reports so far indicate it will not break root and rooted users have been getting the notification. They are also probably doing a controlled rollout if you have not yet gotten the notification. My XOOM is at home right now which sucks I won't be able to get my hands on it for about 6 hours and see what I can all do.
you leave your house without your xoom

Yes the fiance and I share it and we haven't gotten the second one yet. The one downside to having a tech happy significant other. She had the day off and has been playing on it all day. She will probably have all the fun stuff done by the time I get home. I sent her a message on talk asking to not but she gets just as impatient as me sometimes. Worst case she will install the update then I have to confirm the rooting process since its stock right now. I flashed it back the other night.

So if we are already on the new update and use this to flash back to HRI39, will we be able to get back to HRI66? Will we see the update notification again? Or will Moto update the images for us?

everytime i do this once it reboots i get failed to boot LNX 0x0004, only way to get it back is too re unlock it again.

I always have an error processing command the first time i do system.img but 2nd time it seems to work(though I am thinking it is not working).

Any ideas.

P.S Seems that with system.img I get Failed to process command error (0x120003) all the others work first time but can never relock it could this be a windows 7x64 issue? Going to try it on my Daughters netbook. She is giving me the evil eye now.. :D

P.P.S Yep looks like 64bit is the culprit everything went smooth on 32bit version

Thats odd, I run x64 Win 7 and had no problems flashing the system.img or any other file. Might of just been a bug in win 7 x64 that decided to pick on you.

OP, can you update the title of this thread to say Verizon version only?

I know you have a note at the top of this thread to say its only for verizon version only but I still like to see the "verizon version" in the titles so I don't even have to click on the thread.

Don't know what i'm doing wrong but it's telling me that fastboot is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable programne or batch file. The Xoom is on the red moto logo screen which says :- Starting Fastboot Protocol Support . Help please .

You need to go into the android sdk folder, hold shift, click on the tools folder, and select start command prompt here. The .img files need to be extracted to that folder. That will fix your issue. Or add the android sdk/tools folder to the path like you did for the adb command.
