Can any one confirm that new release of OnePlus 3T does not have firmware backdoor that talks to chinese servers and send all info over there like BLU fiasco discovered by Kriprowire????
Just want to open this discussion and to see if any one looked into this issue.

Sure... agree... Custom roms are usualy based on major release of somekind with mods. I have not seen custom rom devs who review all details of firmware from security point of view however.

So it was an issue with Oneplus? Sounds like this is what you're saying?

Using android your data is logged everywhere.... Google and Facebook etc all collect and sell user data. And using any cloud storage is just the same. You are worried about any of that use encryption and VPN.
