Hi everybody. I was modifying a setting in build.prop when I noticed the developer of my current rom added some strings for better performance. Do I have to remove them or LSpeed bypass those settings. I don't want to make a mess because of double different settings (build.prop and L_Speed).

These are the added strings:

# Fix some application issues (FC)
ro.kernel.android.checkjni=0

# Device will boot faster
persist.sys.shutdown.mode=hibernate
ro.config.hw_fast_dormancy=1
ro.config.hw_quickpoweron=true

# More free ram and apps load faster
dalvik.vm.dexopt-flags=m=y

#Disable USB Debugging
persist.adb.notify=0

#Notifacation Tweaks
persist.mtp.notify=0
persist.usb.notify=0

# Saves some battery without reducing performances
wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=497
power.saving.mode=1

# Better scrolling.
windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=150
ro.min_pointer_dur=8
ro.max.fling_velocity=12000
ro.min.fling_velocity=8000

# Disables error checking.
ro.kernel.android.checkjni=0
ro.kernel.checkjni=0

# USB debugging
persist.service.adb.enable=true
persist.service.debuggable=1
persist.sys.usb.config=mtp,adb

There will be no problems, in L speed you don't have to enable smooth scorilling or liquid smooth ui and fast boot.

I tried to remove them and now the rom runs faster than before. But these lines seem created to increase performance, so what's wrong?

Guess Where
@Paget96 , Can you add direct tab opening. Example, when i open l speed and after it finishes the splash screen, it directly opens the tab that i chose ( e.g. Main Tweaks). It seems to be more convenient that way if i want to kill mediaserver or calibrate battery

a question on cache reclaiming (vfs_cache_pressure), description says that at minimum there will be performance loss, the setting set vfs_cache pressure to 10.
but for what I know lowering vfscp improve performance (more ram usage and less cpu usage).
tha doubled setting set vfscp at 200 with huge performnce description but that for me is very poor performance (more cpu usage with less ram usage), thanks

You mean to open main tweaks instead of dashboard?? :)
I think that it's good as it is, since dashboard needs to say you current state on the device :D

I think that i swapped some code lines, will check

I meant it as optional, something in the settings to choose from:fingers-crossed:

Nice app :)

Will add it to recommended app list for my kernel users.

Though, some Samsung Exynos versions have some different in-kernel and in software tweaks (actually binaries) that will override this app or any other app that writes to sysfs or uses sysctl.
Just add that as a note in one of reserved posts

I can translate this app in our language. Just send me XML files or entire text contents of app.

Svaka čast na aplikaciji. Pozdrav iz Niša :highfive::cowboy:
