Hello,

People stop sending me PMs about uploading the "Note-3 ROM", I surely will, if @remzej gives me proper permission! If you want it to be uploaded, request @remzej to grant me to upload the ROM. All original work belongs to him, all I've done is ported properly and removed the bloatware to make it fast as I could. Instead of PMs request him, then I will surely gonna upload the ROM, but for this you've to give me time too, I'm currently out of country! So I'll try my best to upload it ASAP.


P.S: I've been working on the stock ROM too, I'll upload that too! It's light, fast, and lil' bit KitKat feel too!

Hello guys,
The OP has agreed, I'll upload the ROM ASAP.
Just for your information, I've removed all the apps which consumes huge amount of RAM, like Facebook, Maps, etc. You can install them manually too! User like me don't use these apps generally. So that's why I removed it, but you can install these apps from the play store, this isn't a big deal.

I'll upload the ROM ASAP, currently I'm out of country, I'll try my best.

Sorry @Geek-DROID bro for misspelling ur screen name.
Anyway I'm asking u to check whenever u r calling someone or getting an incoming call from someone the caller image(contact picture) is showing or not.
Previously it was not showing for incoming and out going call. Only image showing when u received or other person received the call..
Currency I'm not using this Rom. So can't send u ss. If any problem to understanding this issue please let me know I will install and give u ss. I'm waiting for fixing this issue.

Anyway thank for ur work.. And hope u will upload soon a bugless note 3 Rom.

LOL^ This isn't a bug my friend. Actually what happens is, the Contact.apk has an animation when the call is connecting. So technically there's no use of PNG's. It's an animation used there. So this isn't a bug, this's a feature. But if you want what you're thinking of, I'll try it. But if I'm unable to do it, I'll upload the ROM. Again "This is not a BUG, it's a FEATURE".


P.S: I'll test the ROM again, make corrections if needed, this'll be done today. Tomorrow if I get hands on any laptop or PC, I'll upload it. Deadline: Till 10 April, I'll upload by hook or crook. Most probably I'll upload it in 2 days maximum.


I'll create a fresh new post, with all features and instructions. That'll be more convenient, @op Can divert it here. Thanks.

And about your question, if you want AOSP lockscreen back, delete playapp.apk from /system/app. I noticed this while removing bloatware!

@Geek-DROID I am not sure if you know this or not but I got official permission and support from @remzej 's note 3 rom. I will request you to not to involve in more controversy which already happened over note3 rom by remzej in A116. Please note the A116 note3 rom was actually stolen and was published as own rom which @remzej did got it closed by XDA moderators. I hope you know this whole happenings.

Please read my FAQ, removing PlayApp app is not a good idea. Its bloatware for sure but as per @remzej himself, it is required for sidebar functioning. You can disable PlayApp with "Disable Service" app.

@remzej never permitted anyone to port his NOTE3 work on A116 and A117. The theft on A116 was caught by him and after he gave all evidences of his coding work to XDA moderators, the thread of stolen rom was closed by XDA moderators. Original developer provided his own modifications in smali codes and xml modifications given as evidence. Its actually very easy to leave hidden signatures in rom, (which I also do) and catch a thief. The greed of porting roms may be good, but doing it without proper permission of original developer is always wrong.

Later when RemZej closed A116 thread, he officially allowed me to port his NOTE 3 for A116 and A117 together at least more than a week before. I released it for A116 few days back but due to my A117 teammate Johhnny's personal (sad news in family) problem I released it 4 days late , otherwise it would come together.

To end the note, I hope everyone reads basic rules of XDA also before getting thread closed and getting humiliated.

@dsmas May be you are not aware of XDA rules and norms. Here anyone cannot just take someone's hardwork of day and night without asking him/her, no matter how great expertise anyone is, I have closed one thread here in A117 also which was directly picked up from my SLD rom. When I complained it to XDA mod it was deleted. I hope you will not let such things happen with yourself.
@dsmas My CNT note3 rom just got its first release! It will get better and better with every update. So please wait with patience.

@dsmas You are senior xda member with 240+ thanks meter. I see you have great xda contribution since Note1. Even most devs also do not have half of it here. I appreciate your work.

Just for your kind information, A116 and A117 forums, both are striken badly with plagiarism. As xda contributor you can understand how bad this plagiarism thing is.

This is older ROM. There is fresh new Samsung s5 ROM. Request you to use that
