Advice:
If you couldn't install this mods at once please try next combination:
firstly install v9.4.4.A.0.3(see attach) .Open it and to play. Then delete it without wipe clear data and then you install this mod.

I am extracted Sony music app from latest official fw for XZ2. v.9.4.7.A.0.4 and did mod for not Sony devices(all languages). Works perfect on 10 OS.

Hey @repey6 is this version for rooted device only? Asking this as you've mentioned magisk, or can be installed in any non-rooted android device?

And can anyone confirm whether the earlier bug of crashing at around 20sec time mark is fixed or not? Those who don't know, this music app works fine until android 9 in all devices (universal APK from this thread) but since android 10 arrived for almost a year ago, this sony music app is mostly not compatible anymore with any devices, everyone who have installed this, the music app mostly crashes (stopped automatically) after 20seconds of playback. If anyone wanna check, goto this thread, while we don't know what's exactly is the problem, it seems the modder @Ben Ling stopped modding the app for whatever reason so we who love to use this app & been using since ages are forced to use another music app after updating to android 10.

I personally Have tested in all stock android device that I have in my family, all the broader devices ranges covers from Mi A1, A2 A3 & Moto One Power, Infinix Note5, & some Nokia devices, & every device are running on stock android 10, & in none of them, this sony music apps works.

So, after seeing this new thread here today, am expecting someone would fix this problem so that we all can use (again) our beloved music app.

You tried my combination? I tried this mods on my Redmi 4x MIUI 12.2 10OS and all OK.

With Google Play Music now transitioning to Youtube Music, this really help me a ton to play music locally on my device.
Only hiccup is, when I installed the Music-v9.4.4.A.0.3.apk, the app detects all the album arts no problem. After installed the mod file, all album arts for my music files disappear.

No big issue for me for as long as I can use the app no problem. And also I can still set the album art manually in the app.

Magisk build for 10-11OS. Please ignore on 11OS popup windows and FC at first. After reboot and some time all will work normally.

Anyway, I've tried both, Music v9.4.8.A.0.13(19464205).apk & Music v9.4.8.A.0.13(for not sony).apk from the OP on (Non-rooted) Mi A3 running on Stock Android10 with latest Nov-2020 Security update on the top of already installed Music v9.4.7.A.0.6 (from Sep 2020), both failed to install.

Can anyone provide any universal apk of this latest v 9.4.8.A.0.13 for the non-rooted device?

Did you install new version after full uninstall previous version?
