what kind of question is that mate?, first of all you're not clearly enough about your doubt.... it doesn't matter if your SD card is full/mediumfull/empty, it is still readable/writeable by the OS (with the file explorer) or the recovery (whichever the case)... second, you should refer firstly to the Q&A forum for such matters.my external sdcard is empty.... how to detect it? plz help

Is it already formatted in FAT32/32k cluster size mode?i search thorough the Q&A but can't find an answer(maybe i overlooked) the problem is when i open file explorer it says external sd is empty.... bt i can see it via my computer through usb cable...however, still thanks your reply...:silly:
thanks ... problem solved by using explorer not ES file explorer....Let's give it a try...
you were looking at /sdcard/externalSD or so?
try /extSdCard or /storage/sdcard1.
then learn some basics in Q&A thread
and last but not least: If you think there's a bug. Tell us more:
- where do you come from (The rom - not you!!!)
- how did you flash
- what app did you try (root explorer for example)
- ...
