What is Sony Music?
It is an Ad-free, fast and simple Music Player developed by Sony Mobile.

What does the enhanced mod offer?

Q: Every time I delete a song from my phone via this music app, I have to grant the permission to delete every time, can I grant a permanent permission?
A: Yes you can, starting with v7.1 I added the MANAGE_MEDIA permission.
You can grant it by searching for "Media management apps" in your phone´s settings app and allowing the music app to manage your media

Nothing known to me, sorry. As far as I am aware of it is caused by my custom certificate, without signing the apk you wouldn´t be able to install it and Sony´s signature dies after modifying the file. (Thats the whole point of a certificate)

Awesome! Love the app! Only one request I have….

Anyway you can add a button to refresh the library? As of now if you add new music, the app seems to only refresh when it wants to. And it doesn’t matter if you uninstall it. When you re-install it, it will keep the same settings and library. It’s weird lol.

v11 works fine (except for the limitation that I can't rename music files) on my Mate 20 pro , v12 and v13 always close after 10 seconds,.... Reasons unknown

I've seen that bug (auto close after 10-20 sec of playback) during Android 10 days

What's the Android version of your Mate 20 Pro?
Also, do you use memory card & store all the music files & play from there?

It works on my Xiaomi 13 but, unfortunately, I cannot change the speaker volume with this port, this is quite disturbing (I've not tested your previous releases). No such problem with my wired headphones connected to USB DACs by the way.
What android audio output does it uses? Are hi-res 24 bits flac audio files actually rendered in 24 bits through physical USB output?

Hey,
1) Adjusting your volume should always work, this is handled by the os. I do not understand what you mean, it doesn't have anything to do with this app, does this happen with other music players as well?
2) I have not looked enough into it to know for sure how audio files are rendered. I do know however, that devices such as AirPods render in the AAC codec and thus the quality of the flac files is reduced.
Via the USB output they should be rendered in 24bits, but that's something you have to ask Sony.
