Yeah I know that, I meant to say some kind of wifi patch that is flashable through recovery to be able to run stock 4.3 with old bootloaderNo boot loaders can be flashed via recovery as far as i know.

I experienced the same thing. Lost wifi after flashing your package over omega 20 on old bootloader runnning the wifi patch. I reflashed Omega Rom and gained wifi back. Should I assume that your bootloader/files are still in place ?!?!After installing any of those rom reflash my package, wifi should work after that.

I think modem is the problem. I've just flashed only bootloader and get wi fi back but always auth. problem however, I've lost wi fi again after flashing mj5 modem. Also turning back to old basebands even with stock roms didnt work. The only working thing for me my old ARHD backup.I experienced the same thing. BTW the Baseband I have is XUEMK1
I am now thinking loud : does OMEGA include a modem !?!? I did not think so, but after flashing it back the modem was brought back to MK1 from your MJ5. Could the wifi loss be related to the different modem ? Or simply because the dr Ketan wifi fix was still interfering with your bootloader ?

Had that problem before, Re staring my router fix it.wifi started to work but cannot connect even entering correct password. I'm facing auth. problem. There are other devices that still using the same connection. Solution?
Dont use old 4.1 modems, it will not work and you may loose your IMEI.I think modem is the problem. Try Re-flashing my Package.Hmm I have the wifi issue too - how can this be fixed?
I just flashed this to regain "Official" instead of "Custom".
Was on Sotmax stock MK4, MJ5, knox 0.
Now knox still 0, status official (good!), 3G working fine, but wifi won't switch on.
Any suggestions?
Yes allot of roms include modems and recovery + kernels.I experienced the same thing. Lost wifi after flashing your package over omega 20 on old bootloader runnning the wifi patch. I reflashed Omega Rom and gained wifi back. Should I assume that your bootloader/files are still in place ?!?!

Do you agree with my statement :B]If you flashed a rom and wifi does not turn on, that means you got the wrong modem or boot loader.[/B]Re flashing my package should fix it.
Custom roms do not contain bootloaders. They can only be flashed through odin or kies (bootloaders that is). Try flashing a 4.3 modem and your problems will go away.Do you agree with my statement :
Your package contain a modem and a bootloader. Reflashing Omega replaced the modem but left untouched the bootloader .
How do I check my bootloader version ?

MJ5 :good:Yes, that's interelly possible.
Download Network signal info app from play store.
Launch it and tap the system info tab.
There you find you bootloader version.
