Had that problem before, Re staring my router fix it.
already did it, not fixed

Dont use old 4.1 modems, it will not work and you may loose your IMEI.
My wi fi only worked with 4.1 modem with ARHD19 backup

Try Re-flashing my Package.
did it but also not fixed.

I've fixed it finally! Already had phoeniX rom, just flash the rom with mj2 modem and my wifi works well.

Flashing clean rom -> only bootloader -> dirty install the same rom with mj2 modem or directly flashing mj2 could be the fix for the others!

Been out of the game for a year and am confused. I have tried reading around but that makes things worse
If I want just a stock 4.3 UK Rom which is rooted and no Knox , if I flash this package 1st can I download a stock Rom say from Sammobile.com with no problems and keep root and no knox? If not where do I need to get a stock rom from

Wifi driver not loading, possible cause: you current build has issues with kernel/bootloader. Flash an Mk9 rom to see if wifi works.

Alternatively ,flash my Package then
Flash a custom recovery
then flash this rom and root it as directed.
After that if you want you status back to Official re flash my package.

That's weird, that's MJ9 same as me,so the original package should have worked, unless these rooms contain incompatible Wi-fi drivers.

My woes with this - and the solution

Prior to this I was using MJ5 bootloader, MJ9 modem (showed up as N7100DDEMJ9), kernel 3.0.31-2099172, Dr. Ketan's ROM V6.1, with no Wi-Fi patch, but I had random reboots.

I downloaded the "Package with mj5 bootloader and mj9 modem [BTU] UK" in post #1

I booted from the ROM straight into the "Download" mode which reboots into the downloader mode. Doing it this way I could not flash via Odin. I pulled the battery and rebooted into the downloader mode (Vol-Down, HOME, Power). I then managed to flash the package via Odin.

I followed the SuperSU, Xposed Installer, Wanam Xposed in post #2 instructions.

On a reboot I found that I had no Wi-Fi. My modem now showed up as N7100XXUEMJ9 and the kernel was 3.0.31-2138564.

After a lot of re-reading this thread I thought there was no harm in trying the following...

 1. Installed TWRP 2.6.3.1 via Odin
 2. Re-ran Dr. Ketan's V6.1 ROM and chose ONLY to re-install the standard 4.3 Kernel

After this the kernel was back to 3.0.31-2099172 but more importantly I had Wi-Fi again.

I then went and uninstalled Wanam Xposed and undid the changes in SuperSU from post #2 and rebooted. On the restart the kernel still said "permissive".

I thought I would post this in case it helps someone else.

Thanks for your work and efforts to help us all out, but I'm confused by this answer. I'm on a rooted unit, custom 4.1.2 rom. Can't I flash your package and then use Mobile Odin to flash a stock SamMobile UK rom? My understanding is that won't flash a new bootloader. See this thread, for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2566435

Looks like I got it working!

As per your advice I flashed latest UK firmware
I then followed the steps outlined on post #1 and everything looks to be working fine now.

Many thanks faria!

Hello.
I have flashed [ROM][4.3]N7100XXUEMK9 DeOdexed & Zipaligned without Knox, then rooted by MultiTool_v6 by dr.ketan. Everything worked fine. I used your bootloader, checked triangle away, reseted binary counter and everything worked aswell. But i have one question. I have SELinux status Enforcing SEPF_GT-N7100_4.3_0010, but on screenshot it's SEPF_GT-N7100_4.3_0016. What is this responsible for and does it mean something? Thank all of you for explanation :)
