4.3 UPDATE FOR GALAXY s4 mini

As long as the phone keeps saying "modified" it is not possible to update OTA. You have to reflash the firmware to get an official device status. Then OTA will be possible again.

Do you know why i cant update via Keis either?

I got this update in Lebanon. Didn't work on OTA but it worked with Kies, but after the update it is still on 4.2.2. Maybe it is to prepare for 4.3 or 4.4 update later?

If I remember this right the last updates were for support of the smartwatch. I don't think they were any future update related.

Since I had problems to update over kies as well I would say for the same reason why ota doesn't work. It's all about the custom device status. That's why I always flash via odin.

I am from lebanon too but i cant update via OTA it tells me Software Update service not availble

Can someone tell me how i can get this update (carrier is Fido) with my phone being rooted? Everytime i try to do the OTA update it tells me it cant because the phone has been modified.

Try using Triangle Away. This worked with my I9195 International unlocked. Be patient because sometimes it fails..

You can flash the update using Odin (google this if you're not familiar with it)

The s4 mini has update plans for 4.4 already (which has been discussed in other threads). Don't know where I read that there won't be 4.3 but it is sure.
