Hi, is G+ installed? On our device is a well know battery eater
Otherwise install BetterBatteryStats and check for app preventing deep sleep.
Also many music player,after stopping keep on run in the background with higher CPU.

I am not moaning but battery seems to drain rather quickly using this ROM. Apart from that I feel its the most stable version of aosp KK for the note. PA is also quite good but for now I am here.

Try turning off "Location" in your pull down menu at the top. This makes a huge difference and is mainly your GPS radio. This is a well known battery sucker in KitKat and is evident in all KitKat roms. This is the best KK rom out there IMO for the N7000. I have said goodbuy to my "Team Union" rom which I used for more than a year. Hang in there, the more you find out about this rom the happier you will be.

Cheers bud. In standby it faired really well so its just drain in use. I love it mate and stress how good it is. I have set location to battery saver as i do with all ROMs.

Perhaps some blobs could be used from S3 update. Note 8 is useless to us, too much hardware difference.

Yeah...n7000 and i9300/i9305/t0lte are so vastly different that they share the same kernel.

9300 isn't getting KK just 9305.....whether they share same kernel flashing a 9305 KK build on 9300 it keeps asking to insert SIM. So that's where I based my statement on. Don't really care for sarcastic comments mate as I am used to it. So go right ahead! Some people need to realise that not all may know as much as you do but that doesn't give you the right to try and ridicule others. No matter who you are we all should show respect to others!

Ya I figured as much. I tried flashing 9300 stock kernel over 9305 KK build but still same. Had same results when I tried 7100 KK on my 7105 note 2. Someone who knows more than me will hopefully get us a working port

Copy and paste one of your choosing to /system/media folder using root explorer or similar root browser and reboot. It's called bootanimation.zip

I have another samsung galaxy gt-n7000.. i bought it in used from a vendor here in Pakistan..it is woth box and complete accessories... he said its imported from dubai.. it doesnt have antina and model # is showing same gt-n7000.. but it has micro sim slot instead of mini sim while the international version of gt-n7000 have mini sim.. can anyone tell me exact information if i can root it or install custom roms of original gt-n7000 or it will be risk if its not gt-n7000 or its refurnish or korean note with original custom rom? I am waiting your responses.. thx

you really should change the default boot up animation. It's mostly old people that use the Note 1, I flashed this ROM for my mother, and she got pissed of at me because of the boot image and thought I was playing a joke on her on Mother's day. WTF.
