you really should change the default boot up animation. It's mostly old people that use the Note 1, I flashed this ROM for my mother, and she got pissed of at me because of the boot image and thought I was playing a joke on her on Mother's day. WTF.

You confused me for someone who actually gives a cares about what you and your mother think, so the present boobanimation stays.

The only reason I choose this rom is because it has the most reply and I don't care about the Note 1 because it aint my phone.

1. This Rom (like all other Roms round here) is developed in my own free time, and you don't have to pay a dime to use it.

2. Having in mind the abovementioned, you'd do well to ditch your feeling of self-entitlement here and elsewhere at the XDA. Developers are not your employees, you are not a customer, so keep in mind that nobody owes you anything.

3. You don't like something, you keep shtum and move on to some other Rom; that's the etiquette round here.

4. I'll be heartbroken if you do decide to flash something else and get out of here, but I promise I'll do my best to try to recover and forge on.

You don't have to use the boot animation. Replace or delete bootanimation.zip through a file explorer...

I don't consider myself old even if I do wear bifocals, so be respectful. And besides, I think the bootanimation lady has very nice lips.

And as said below, everyone can delete bootanimation.zip from the rom, put one from other rom or why not create your own
Personnaly I delete every language stuff I do not use before flashing to make Asylum even more light than original.
That's very easy, just read, learn and try
