I can confirm it's work on docomo so-03e (with SGP321_10.4.B.0.569_4.3 flashed).
[ You can check here on how to change your SO-03E to SGP321 with 32GB ]
Started with step10, and just Checking Exclude Partition when doing step12. (12. Flash everything in 'SGP321_4.4.stripped.ftff')

Tested camera, speaker, nfc, wifi, lte. All work.
Radio/televsion service (docomo version only service) should not work.
Risk on your own.
Thanks, @kench928 ,it's good to know there is a transformation method! I have European SGP321, but it can help to "debrand" Docomo tablets. The hardware is the same, just the firmware and partition layout different...

Hi guys.

A while a go I've made a mistake and installed a stock 4.3 firmware on my rooted version and lost root. I know it is impossible to root it or 4.4 without downgrading to 4.1.2. As far as I know this will wipe my apps and data clean. Isn't there any thing I can do on 4.3 or 4.4.2 to backup my apps data before downgrade so I won't loose it all?

AFAIK rooting is only possible on 4.1.2. But you can make a backup with the sony backup&restore app, did it myself that way. Restoring on a different android version is no problem. Just make sure to backup on the external SD card!

Just to make sure: You've backup and restored not only apps but also their data? Like game progress etc?

quick question I've seen that one requires to go back to 4.1.2 why is it that you cant do that in 4.2.2 ? is something wrong with that build or something? I mean its rooted. I havent searched the reason but can someone explain why or forward the link where the reason is?

in my opinion you can flash rooted 4.2 with this rom but a long time ago someone had a problem with updateing 4.2rom, thats the reason...

Your Opinion is right. I'm confirming that I could certainly flash 4.4.2 directly from 4.2.2 without downgrading to 4.1 or upgrading to 4.3.
the method was same as you described. but I didnt used dual recovery install.bat instead I used flashable recovery instead ... I went to recovery and then flashed the dualrecovery
(now I dont know if I had philz (without touch) before but I am quite sure that you can do that with recovery without flashing dual if you have option to power off.)
after flashing that I restarted (just to check if it went without hiccups) and it went smooth...
I went back to recovery and then flashed 4.4.2
turned off as it says and then flashed stripped tft file with flash too
It worked for me. maybe the one who had problem did something wrong or I just went lucky...(probably he/she didnt follow the procedure correctly.)

Anyway just confirming.. thanx for the tutorial..

i think he should flash 4.1 docomo rom to 4.1 SGP321 with excluding Partition, and then sgp321 4.4 ZIP and FTF, also with excluded partition.
but who knows :p
