1) You need to have Samsung 4.3 Bootloader or newer. MJ5 firmware Bootloader is recommended for those who wish to avoid knox counter. If you don't have, see here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2205009 (under SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR 3.6 AND ABOVE) or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2500823. Please use latest KitKat Bootloader if you wish to be able to plug your phone while turn off.
2) Make sure you have the latest TWRP/CWM recovery installed. TWRP recovery is recommended.(Linked: TWRP thread
3) Next, remember to backup your app and your efs folder. That's something that you always should do before flashing anything
4) Go to TWRP/CWM recovery via pressing home + power + volume up button at the same time.
5) Make a nandroid backup if you haven't done so.
6) Use the "Clean to install a new rom" option in Wipe Data and system.(clean installation recommended)
7) (Reminder) Remember that everything you flash you do it at your own risk so do your research before flashing anyhting.
8) Now go to choose to install the rom zip file.
9) Flash the rom. It should take less than 10 minutes till it boots.
9) Enjoy the ROM

PS: CAUTION :

1. IF U HAVE WIFI PROBLEM GO TO DR KETAN"S THREAD AND FLASH WIFI FIX . BOTH FILES.

How to Add More Apps in Ultra Power Saving Mode (UPSM)

UPSM is good way to save some battery when needed, but only a very limited apps we can use under UPSM. With root access, we can add more apps support in UPSM.

Well, the whole idea of UPSM is to save battery, why on earth we want to add more apps to drain the battery? Because we can :victory:


For the start, our mod will add a few applications so you can test it out before customizing your own application list.

Apps added in our mod:

1) Camera
2) Gallery
3) Torch (included AOSP torch.apk for this feature)
4) Chrome
5) Hangout

Instruction to add more apps to UPSM

1) Download the UPSM_Add_More_Apps.zip from : http://electron-team.com/ADDONS/other/

2) Put zip file in sd card.

3) Boot in recovery and clear cache partition

4) Flash the zip file and reboot your phone

5) Boot into UPSM to test the added applications

How to add your own apps?

6) Go to system/csc and open up allowed_apps_upsm.xml with text editor

7) Add your desired applications. You need to know the application Package Name and the Main Class Name. Check the app's Android.Manifest.xml to find out.

8) Then go to phone data/data/com.sec.android.emergencylauncher/databases/ and delete EmergencyLauncherUPSM.db

9) Reboot your phone.

10) Done.

Note: Music app doesn't work in UPSM because some background services has been turn off.

V2 + Fixes

Special Instructions how to flash :

1) remember to backup.
2) go to recovery via pressing home + power + volume up button at the same time.
3) use clean to install a new rom option in wipe data and system.(clean installation recommended)
4) now flash our rom. let it boot for 15 min. (it only takes 10 or something but good to have patience)
5) after rom boots FLASHING MJ5 BOOTLOADER IS RECOMMENDED. DO THAT THEN PROCEED. From JOELDROID ROM DOWNLOAD WHERE IT SAYS SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR 3.6 AND ABOVEthank JOEL THE GREAT FOR IT TOO
6) then boot again in the rom. check again wifi should be working.
7) again go to recovery via method describe above and install fixes provided Removed(until now only SNS + Gallery)
8) boot in the rom again and enjoy rom. superb smooth and battery life.
9) widget fix fc on other launcher Removed
