u missed few pages here.

I have already tried the new firmware and feels its real smooth and has no bugs.
also have rooted it using multitool. and then updated the super user

plus I had done the same when the MJ5 firmware had released, then I used that for a day, then CM 10.2 then DN3 for a week..
but after that also the Knox count was 0 after flashing the new firmware today.

I guess flashing new firmware using ODIN resets the knox too

I had same problem and found that it was caused by a corrupt video i had downloaded, deleting it solved the problem.

Flashing from the start must be the last option. No offense but I found your answer careless, I didn't want the last option that came first to the mind. And Indeed someone @Ulster1690 has the same problem, and I found my problem without flashing from the beginning. It was important for me.

Please check your bootloader version!!!!!
If you didn't update the bootloader since Android 4.1.2 flash MJ5 bootloader or newer --> ND3 is latest available bootloader - find download link below.
If you alreadey updated it or flashed any 4.3/4.4 rom via OTA or flashed a realy stock 4.3/4.4 rom from sammobile or so (with MK9, ML4 or above bootloader) you are fine
With bootloader versions below MJ5 you maybe will run into issues like reboots, fc's (fc...force close) and maybe wifi wont work.
To check wich bootloader you are currently using, use an info app like android system info and look for build infos.

How to install:[/B]

v5.2 is using Aroma installer. So read every step carefully and make your choice! If you didn't like your chosen options, just reflash rom and make another selection!

v5.5 and DN4 are a standalone flashable zip's (no aroma)

1. Recovery: look for latest TWRP find link below and download for example: "openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.2-t03g.zip" for flashing from recovery or img.tar for odin for N7100 international --> install it
2. put rom to your external SD (all downloadlinks on OP or below in this FAQ)
3. be sure that MD5 checksums are correct
4. boot into TWRP (use latest version and find it below) and do a full backup
5. go to wipe and click on "format Data" (be sure you have a backup as all data will be ereased) and confirm with yes
6. Click on Advanced Wipe and select Dalvik, Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage and swipe to wipe
7. go to main menu, select install and install rom from external SD
8. reboot to system and after it booted up wait for a few minutes
9. reboot to recovery and flash bug fixes if available --> see sections below for further information's
10. wipe dalvik cache and cache and reboot to system
11. configure your DN3 rom

Now you are fine to use rom

On Philz touch you have to do a little bit differnt:
1: Flash PhilZ recovery v6.26. or higher - find link below
2. put rom and fixes if available to your external SD (all downloadlinks on OP or below in this FAQ)
3. be sure that MD5 checksums are correct
4: Reboot to Philz recovery and do a full backup
5: Format Internal SDCard (in mounts and storage) and do Factory reset (I will install a new ROM option in PhilZ)
7: install rom

ND3 Bootloader + ND3 Modem + ND1 Modem

Heere is a link to a collection of ND3 Bootloader + Modem and ND1 Modem. ND3 Bootloader will solve charging issue on Kitkat (phone will start when its off and power cord is plugged in) and modems are for those who have wifi issues or bad signals. Try out which modem is the best for you.
Installing ND3 bootloader (KitKat) is irreversible and will trigger knox warrenty bit! Be sure you will understand this!!!!!

Q: After flashing rom phone gets stuck on bootlogo. (or bootloops) What to do?

A: Remove battery for a min or so, enter recovery and flash rom again. This happens from time to time.
