Through any root browser Remove your existing myfiles from system apps. Put this in it's place.

Change permission as rw--r--r--. Reboot, hope it'll work. If not, you have to flash the rom again.

Originally my n7100 is network locked via Globe (Philippine Network provider). but somehow we headed to a nearby cellphone repair and manage to unlock the network (installed super SU and rooted the phone also).

then i saw this awesome rom, managed to install the ROM but 1 problem is the cellphone cant detect any simcard. thats my problem as of now..

please help me with this.

Have you tried using Globe network? what does it says, no simcard only or totally no network? check your imei under settings, what does it says too?

I think there are scenarios where flashing new rom locked your phone again if was force unlocked only.

otherwise, efs probably corrupted (hopefully not).

yes tried the original simcard it was locked to but still it cant detect any simcard. on my status bar, it has a "Do not" sign. and i try to access Mobile network it would prompt "Insert SIM card to access network services"

and my IMEI is null/null.

i see.. so i think your problem is outside this "amazing rom". probably your question is best fitted to Q&A section of note II, so not to overwhelm this forum.

Hmmm... try restoring your old nandroid backup (if you have) and see if it persist. otherwise, it might be hardware problem.

(please check first the right method in restoring nandroid backup as I am not expert on it and since i assumed you flashed the new bootloader)

try restoring your nandroid back up first to see if it persist. I have a feeling that this rom or the android based rom of this conflicts to the method/tweak done by whoever he is that unlock your phone.

There are some that you can do but it need the back up of your efs. do you have one?

I have read some that changing your modem can restore your efs but i doubt it.

i have back-up my old rom via cwm. but when i try to recover it, cwm shows me an error of "no file found" , tried putting it on my ext sd card, and internal but no luck..

Download Hurricane modem changer v2 in hurricane v5 rom section page 1.
Flash through cwm
Change modem to dmg1

Hi

I think we basically don't have time for that and that's why we didn't even talk or think about it...
Four of us are full time workers and one is a full time
student. Then we also spen some time with the family and friends, chatting between the team members and obviously porting/fixing. I guess you can now imagine why we didn't do that.

However if you want to do it for us I think the guys won't mind...

This should only happens on DN3 V1.0: there is no modem in it and you have to flash manually when you come from 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 – This issue is fixed in V2.0 as there is a correct modem inside rom V2.0!
