[4.4.4] DN4 (Ditto Note 4) ROM by E-team (Electron Team) - Development Stopped.

I did a clean install of both DN7 and Eclipse v9. Noticed DN7 to be using about 1.2 GB RAM while Eclipse V9 was using 570 MB, immediately after install. Also, Eclipse V9 leaves about 9.8 GB free internal memory after fresh install. No disrespect to DN7 developers; just pointing out the differences.

thx for the point out. I'm back on Resurrection Remix 7.3 the only issue here is hardware acceleration. Eclipse v9 and DN7 are way faster and smoother then Resurrection Remix. All 3 Roms use the same kernel hmm :/

I like RR rom too. I would be using it if I wasn't so fond of spen and its features on TW. Kudos to DN team and Eclipse for keeping TW alive on Note 2.

Edit:New Link,You might have to wait a couple of hours,cos it uploading to my dropbox,I will let you know when its ready,I am willing to support this rom,its the best one out there for my Note 2 N1700 and I still use it.

I'm using DN7 rom. Anyone had any luck with mirror link? I get "TmServerApp" has stopped working(FC) when i connect it to my car stereo with drive link app(sideloaded it because playstore says N910c is incompatible) . I have seen videos of the same working with Note 2 stock ROM on youtube, this ROM causes this FC. Also some settings lack the toggle switches(a graphical glitch)

Hi, I love this rom and since the last update I've done which was way back on 4.4.1 now with 4.4.2 I have issues with my GPS. It seems to take long to connect or at least the signal jumps all over the place until I leave the GPS running for a while then it would correct itself but it will also jump again intermittently. Seems to be only this ROM. I've used another rom recently and the gps worked fine.

It is better you update your device to official 4.4.2 kitkat first then only you flash this rom.

I installed TWRP and opened it.

I wiped Cache and dilvik.

Then tried to install DN4_v2 for lte(2)

and DN4v2-Note2LTE-v1.1-OPEN

and both installs failed.

When I rebooted it was still working as a Note 2.

Any chance of some help please?

try this patch
it's an aroma installer n follow the steps for installing it..
and last step you can select you're country's csc for your own.
it will work with most 4.4.4 stock based roms which is for N7100

Thanks a lot for the reply.

I uploaded the file.

I went to Install and attempted to install the file from the sd card as with the other DN4 files.

I got a red message saying the install of the zip failed.

Even though I used the Wipe function, the phone still starts up as a Note 2.

Sorry for my inexperience with this.

So since the development of this ROM stopped long time ago, I thought some of you,(like me), still love the look of the old and gold Stock TouchWiz 4.4.4 which Ditto Team provided back then. I made some changes and tweaks, added a kernel here and there and fixed some bugs. So here you guys have two different versions of this ROM:

PS. I don't think this is illegal since the ROM is on EOL for a very long time :/
