JUST TO CLEAR THINGS UP..........before FLASHING Ditto V3.1

People coming from Ditto V3

1. No need to install any BOOTLOADER
2. Clean install highly recommended as it is different base wipe data, cache and dalvik cache
3. Flash V3.1 and your all good enjoy the best rom ever! and give thanks to the dev who made it possible

People coming from Ditto V2

1. No need to install any BOOTLOADER
2. Clean install highly recommended as it is different base wipe data, cache and dalvik cache

People coming from Other Custom ROMS......

1. Do a nandroid backup first (IT'S A MUST!!!!)

A. If coming from other custom leaked 4.3 MJ5 below

1. You need to install MJ5 bootloader from JOELDROID see instruction in OP on how to flash V2
2. Instead of Flashing V2 in instruction on OP you Flash V3.1
3. Then do the installation of bootloader VIA ODIN (Please Follow instruction CAREFULLY!!!)
4. All the fixes for V2 in OP don't need to be installed​

B. If coming from 4.1.2 Custom Roms

1. Same procedure as A but that might break your EFS and cause no signal and NULL IMEI
2. If that happens....

2a. You need to restore your EFS from backup using PHILZ or TWRP Recovery
2b. Then you have the option to change modem using Hurricane Modem changer to change it to 4.3 versions of modem of your choice​

3. If everything went well ENJOY THE ROM ​

C. IF COMING FROM STOCK ROM UNROOTED PHONES

1. READ READ READ AND READ ALOT!!!!!

Here's some little TIPS for C.......
ROOT YOUR PHONE
INSTALL CUSTOM RECOVERY (PHILZ OT TWRP)
then BACKUP do a FULL BACKUP NANDROID BACKUP so you won't mess up your phone
THEN READ AGAIN and READ SOME MORE........... ​

HAPPY FLASHING

AFTER FLASHING V3.1

To upgrade from V3.1 to V3.1.1
After first boot download & flash the OTA file on OP
Open the OTA app and you should be able to download and flash the update v3.1.1
After flashing the 3.1.1 update you have to clear data of the Email app once to avoid Email FC

Interesting--when I first flashed DN3.1.1 if I removed the SPen I got a notificvation in the Notifications bar, which when pulled down allowed me to access a couple of preset SPen apps and then the recently used SPen apps, BUT no access to S-Note [as in Stock]--now, when I withdraw the SPen--I only get the default app that I set to open [ Action Memo/Air Command] and no notification, or apps showing in the pull down; guess something has got corrupted and it's getting near time to do a clean install again.
Possibly due to switching kernels around.

Oh yes, it's the Action Memo app, not the stock SNote... So that's the reason for the delay right!?

Please don't go for LG.Their service is horrible.They won't repair anything.Only make replacements.But the spares are not readily available.You will have to wait inordinately.And their cost also is extrvagent.

The colour part is easily fixed. PM me know when you want to try again, I will give you a slightly modified setting to let you control the colours through Settings > Device > Display > Screen Mode.

Sure will- could be sooner rather than later- Agni is pretty good but, currently, I think Devil2 gets my vote. One nice thing about Agni is that it's linked to Boeffla Sound and installs Boeffla tweaks by default.

You do have File "MagazineHome.apk" of DN3 v3.1.1 for her not to ask? Theme by Flash or do not know why but when reboot is lost bieetr similar programs outside the screen (In the system \ app still intact)?

Please help!

Still didn't get any answer regarding inability to backup my DN3.1.1 .I reflashed Philz both 5.15 and 6 but was not able to backup with either. Then flashed TWRP still same. However with TWRP and Philz 6 got following error message
E:error opening/data/data/com.android settings
E:error too many open files
Did SD card formatting and even installed rom again Though rom is working great

Use apps like Titanium Backup.to backup your apps and appdata before flashing and restore afterwards.

When I am on home screen and try to set up lock screen wallpaper it says "touchwiz home has stopped" anyone with this problem? The only way to set up locksreen wallpaper is from the settings.

Hi All,

I have a strange issue. I tried to flash rom to try this one and I got asked for a PIN/Password to decrypt phone on reboot and cannot by pass this...
I think it is because my phone was encrypt with previous rom, but as I dild factory reset and full wipe from TWRP I thought that will remove it.

can you help me ?

That's why I prefer cwm. From full rom backup just restore data only.
