Well, if you need kids mode " i.e. settings for restricting access to certain parts of you phone when the kids play with it." Yes, otherwise no !!! There are problems with heavy battery drainage, being sluggish after update. If you go back to 4.4.2 NC5 ( which is possible ) many people are complaining of boot loops and soft bricked devices.
