1. I never had any problems with knox.
2. The official forums are advising philz, i use TWRP and that worked also
4. Yeah you can but if you have philz or other revovery i would say backup your rom first.

what about question 3? what is the boot file in first post?
and another question can i restore my apps and data from the backup i took through recovery ?

guys i flashed this rom too, and i have the external sd problem too, i don't see any sign of sd on my phone , restarted the phone , nothing happened

Is this ROM ready for daily use? I was searching for stable MIUI ROM and this is almost the same :cyclops:

Maybe you need to flash extsdFIX or set the permissions in recovery.
Mine SD working correct.

I used it for 2 days without a problem, I backuped the installation so I can play with it later on.

that doesn't make scense man!! can you tell me exactly how you flashed the rom and which recovery did you use ?

I have formatted my external SD card because of this ROM. Apparently directories were mysteriously dissapearing and LOST.DIR got bigger and bigger.

As an end result I lost all my pictures and files on my external SD card and had to format it to become useful again. I flashed another ROM quickly....

Here is my quick review after installation of ROM.

--> After Installation boot of ROM without Gapps i got 2-3 FC's for camera, com.process.gapps & one more.
--> OS is quite good & responsive but quite a few chinese apps (which can be removed after root).

Below are the issues i faced:
1. Stock Camera doesn't work. It says camera failed. I tried side loading another camera app which worked.

2. I installed pa Gapps 4.4.4 which i had handy. Flashed it & configured Google account but was not able to install any apps. It gives error "there is insufficient space on the device".
I tried clearing cache & Data of Google play store & Play services but didn't work. Side loading apps didnt give any such error as there was no space issue. I think this is due to old gapps maybe.

3. Keyboard was chinese & English mix & some suggestions were also in chinese which made it difficult to use. This is not a big issue since once i get my swift keyboard i could remove this Keyboard.

Root option is available in Developer options but could install Super Su due to play store error & didnt had apk handy.

I didnt had much time (i was already late for office) due to which i could fix or troubleshoot the 2nd issue so came back to my DN4 backup.

Hope someone could check this Rom better.

Once i get time will try to give it 1 more try in 2-3 days.

I gonna flash the rom tonight to get a look at it, did install the other version in this topic a while ago and i gonna look if the same tricks works on this rom.
To get the gapps working, keyboard etc

I flashed this ROM
Fast ROM and camera is also working but installer seems to be of miui as it says you are installing miui

I tried the rom, camera works..not the first time but after a reboot it worked.
But got FC all the time on android.google.gapss out of the box, tried flashing different gapps packs but no one would work
Keyboard is indeed Chinese but you can inatall a third party.

I saw a video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajFGdI5GTEI ) about your rom and in that video i got the link to your thread to download the Rom. Well in that video there was also a link for the Kernel but somehow the link is broken.

I would request you if you share a compatible Kernel download link for this rom ! ? I use GT-N7100 Note 2.

Also do you have MIUI V6 for GT-N7100 Note 2 ?
