Appears to be gone. Why do you need it? Just assign a hardware button to menu.
The overflow menu is a much better experience and what Google had in mind. The hardware button is a good workaround but the proper menu is still long term preferable.

The setting is gone, but the function isn't. If you uncheck the "Allow Customer Buttons" option, the overflow menu seems to appear as normal.
Updated Gallery apk with a proper icon for the Storage option nowThis is for CM10.2 ONLY, and must be pushed to /system/app, replacing the current Gallery2.apk (or you can change the extension of the old version to have a backup).

Stop flashing Zack Morris builds, you'll make baby Jesus cry.
Try current builds, a lot of stuff that you're on about either was fixed a long time ago or is #FirstWorldProblems

Constructive comment Trunks. I've always remained on current builds. Flashing back to the old stuff is what fixed an issue that quite a few people were having - even on the latest versions.
Considering I'm in the IRC every single workday from 9-6 and I haven't heard complaints about microphones in a seriously long time. Yes for a while there was a placebo fix of changing the microphone setting in build.prop from digital to analog, but that's been fixed for a terrible long time.

I did a lot of homework on it since I was actually having the issue (and first world problem or not, being able to use your phone for calls is important), even throwing the latest IRC builds on as they were updated with clean flashes. What I discovered was that a lot of people had been having the issue, not just on CM, but across multiple ROMs, Sense and AOSP. Whatever the case, what I did solved it for me and hopefully others will benefit too. It certainly doesn't hurt to share.
Troubleshooting a hardware issue should start with a RUU and if that's unsuccessful it should be exchanged under warranty. There shouldn't be a lingering cross-framework issue for anybody. If it doesn't work after RUU, it's probably not going to work.

New GApps are 4.3. You have to stick with the old GApps. This new GAPPS package.. Does it go with 7/23 or should stick to previous one? I'm not ready to make switch to 10.2. Thanks.

And why aren't you ready to make the switch? Data on 10.2 is better than on 10.1 at this point.
You can always backup, try to dirty flash, and see if it works. If it does, you've upgraded. If not, you can go right back to where you were.Okay. Thanks.
As for why, it seems like a clean install may be needed, and I don't have the time and don't even really feel like going through all that again. I customize so many things to my liking, so long process. Current and near future free time= not really. Business has been booming, so I'm riding the wave that won't end. Lol

P.S. Additionally, Google will reinstall all your current apps automatically and restore your system settings, and with an app like Titanium Backup, I've been back completely up to date in under 20 minutes.
Man I flash 8-10 times a day sometimes, always clean, and can be set up in under 10 minutes now. Google & TB are great.

TiBu pro is worth the pricetag, can even restore some system data... usually.

I own TiBu Pro, have for awhile. Great app indeed. I was always afraid to restore too much though.
When is he going to get HDMI output working? This is ridiculous. It's been months since he brought this out and yet he can't get one of the core functions working? I get it: don't tell the developer what to do, it's harder than you think, it's a ton of work, yada yada yada, but why is this so difficult? He hasn't even explained why it can't be done, and yet it's the biggest missing feature of this ROM. Get started on it already!
Nah I'll just post it hereIf you get a chance feel free to send me a pm with that hott stuff:thumbup:
