I got a $45 "Stay with us" credit to my account because I opted to sign a 2-year contract extension early (which does not mess with your upgrade eligibility)...I'm also selling my EVO back to Sprint for $150 credit so my 3D will cost me a whomping $5! Hahaha!

Lol
I think its for existing customers who upgrade... Depending on how close you where to the 2year date of original contract you will get a credit for staying with sprint

Could be wrong as I'm a new customer and never dealt with sprint personally

sent from anything but an iPhone

You are absolutely correct...its for existing customers at the end or past their contract life...welcome to Sprint! You will have a good experience with them...the same can not be said as of just a few years ago!! Sprint has made some killer steps in changing their policies and culture to truly aiming for customer retention and satisfaction...

My upgrade date is 6/1/11, but my agreement (contract) doesn't expire till 9/24. Would this still work now?

Ok... So theese are the steps?

Call custumer service and renew your contract, and you will get a credit for that....

It will not affect your upgrade, but were does the credit goes, to your bill or to your phone purchase?

You will get the credit off your bill. You can purchase the phone anywhere. But you have to renew the contract before you buy the phone ONLY at customer care.

we did this all the time when I worked for sprint. It was usually a $50-70 bill credit per line that the customer was upgrading. Then on top of that you still can upgrade where ever you want as long as you extend the contract first through customer care. A lot of times if you have already done the upgrade and you call in saying you were told about the credit they will still give it to you but its not as seemless of a process as if you were to call in first.

Ok. I have an Evo. I WANT the Evo 3D. Before they split Premier into two levels, I would have been eligible in August to upgrade. My contract ends I think 8/1/12, but I can upgrade 6/1/12. If I call and add another year to my contract (to make it 2013), you're saying they would credit me?

Guys, don't forget to call customer service first before using the upgrade. You must renew your contract at customer service so you can get the credit. It will not affect your upgrade eligibility if they will renew your contract. :D

$75 credit guaranteed to work, and not affect eligibility:

Received this offer via SMS, but it seems open to all (open website, etc.)

    Cheers,

Credit for renewing your contract on top of the upgrade. A lot of sprint customers are not aware of this.

On an Update on this thread...

I was able to get the 70$ credit AGAIN!

.........Here is my post from this thread.....

June 21, when i ordered my phone, i came online i asked them for the renewal service credit, and they gave me 70$ dollars credit.

Then today i asked them about credits for renewing, etc, and asked them if i qualify, and they told me that i dont qualify becuase i already renew(they should said that i didnt qualify becuase they already give me the credit on June 21), and then becuase i didnt qualify i asked them about the 30 days return or cancel, and then she said she was going to talk with Supervisor for the credit and Bingo, got a 70$ credit! LOL
