4Ext Recovery Themes to be used with Madmaxx82 4EXT Recovery

1. Take a base image of 480x800 resolution.
2. Prepare images with following names.
    a. advanced.png (480x800, displayed during selecting advanced menu)
    b. backup_restore.png (480x800, displayed during selecting backup & restore menu)
    c. ext3_4ext_ext4.png (480x800, displayed during selecting ext3 to ext4 conversion menu)
    d. icon_clockwork.png (480x800, displayed as main screen)
    e. icon_error.png (480x800, displayed when error ocurs during installaion)
    f. icon_installing.png (480x800, displayed during installation)
    g. install_from_sdcard.png (480x800, displayed during selecting install from sdcard menu)
    h. mounts_storage.png (480x800, displayed during selecting mount storage menu)
    i. power_menu.png (480x800, displayed during selecting power menu)
    j. reboot_now.png (480x800, displayed during selecting reboot menu)
    k. toggle_usb_storage.png (480x800, displayed during selecting toggle usb storage menu)
    l. wipe_format.png (480x800, displayed during selecting wipe format menu)
    m. indeterminate1.png (252x20, Intermediate progress bar)
    n. indeterminate2.png (252x20, Intermediate progress bar)
    o. indeterminate3.png (252x20, Intermediate progress bar)
    p. indeterminate4.png (252x20, Intermediate progress bar)
    q. indeterminate5.png (252x20, Intermediate progress bar)

Setting up colors Colors are mainly devided into three segments and they are HEADER, MENU and TEXT colors. Take a copy of /sdcard/4ext/4ext.prop file and set colors as you wish to represent after applying your theme.

Preparing package: Either you download archive from 2nd post and use it as reference, or you can find other themes across different theme section.
Though themes are installed at same supported locations, every themer has their own way of packing resources in archive and copying them on device using script.
File copy operation is controled by updater-script under META-INF/com/google/android folder.

To uninstall a 4ExtTheme use this uninstall.zipp. Just flash in Recovery and reboot,and the theme should be gona.

Splash Screens

Use the .exe (all made by Roboprint, thx mate) in the zip if provided
or
Install by adb commands:
Download the .img
Place in fastboot folder.
Open cmd
Type:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash splash1 splash1.img
fastboot reboot
Done​

Nice! I wasn't sure about this whole idea of themes for CWM, some of the early screenshots made it look like the text would be hard to read. I should have had more faith, though, as they've turned out excellent. I'm using the one linked above and it looks really classy!

Ofc.. I will extend all themes later.. So you always see background with a icon showing the task.

Whiskey, little problem here. I'm using 4extrecovery by maddmaxx82 version 2.1.0 final. Trying to restore old backup it stucks (not your fault), but recovery has lost your theme. Now it's orange without background and the same version 2.1.0. I haven't tried what would happen if i restore normal bakup yet.
