Nice work my friend! Yeah ive been working on roms and cm7 themes and have been out of recovery for a bit. Now its time jump back in with touch! As always great work man!!!!!

I downloaded and flashed the Beats theme and it looks GREAT!

I read through the 11 pages of this thread but couldn't find this question...

Before I flashed this theme 4ext recovery used to have haptic feedback on my HTC Sensation buttons when they were pushed. They still work but since flashing the theme there is not haptic feedback. Is there a way to re-enable it?

Are you on the new 4EXT_NG Touch Recovery? Since the beats theme is for the 4ext classic without touch. Not that it should affect your hardware buttons, but it's just not the right theme for the latest recovery. It's not ported yet.

I have no idea about the hardware haptic feedback function. Will take a look at it. I never noticed, since iam running the touch beta for long time already.

Thanks! When I installed ARHD a few releases ago it automatically upgraded the 4ext and allows the use of the hardware buttons (and they were haptic) instead of the old way of using the volume and power buttons. I don't have much experience with 4ext so any advice is certainly appreciated.

Yeah, but i don't think the themes can enable/disable the haptic feedback in recovery.

Did you install the 4EXT Recovery Updater http://www.4ext.net/ or the full controller app? maybe you need a update of the recovery.

It looks like I am running v2.2.7 RC5 and I used the 4extrecoveryupdater.apk app to install the app.

Does that help?

So you are on the old recovery. Download the latest 4EXT_NG edition

ok so whiskey I took one of your themes and replaced the png's for all the background images and renamed them exactly the same as well as made sure they are all 540x960 this worked for the classic recovery. now the only difference i see is that for classic the images had to be in 32 bitmap, and it looks like yours are in 24 bitmap, why is this? Can you take a look at my .zip and tell me what's wrong or why it won't flash please.. all i want to do is change the background image.

Will take a look when @home. But basically it should work the same as with classic 4EXT. Just it's not a bitmap. It's a png extension. Color bitrate shouldn't make a difference. But yeah, i know in some programs there is something wrong with conversion. Still never found out why. I remember some time ago when Euphorie and me are mass porting bootanims, we also had such strange problem.

Anyway, I will look at it.

Just flash a new one. Or as u said, uninstall theme, flash new one. I think it's best with all the themes out there lately.

just woundering i have searched all over where will i find the matching splash n boot screens, there was a thread somewhere that had matching 4ext, splash and boot amins but cant find it, i came across it by chance when i found it the 1st time.
