Did a fresh sideload of the latest 8.1 release, but the issue still persists. Maybe the charge control chip is malfunctioning. Any idea?

I also recently bought one, I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Do you know if these boards also bootloop eventually?I've just ordered new Oudini motherboard with 4GB of RAM. I wonder how long will be the shipping to Lithuania. I'll keep you updated :highfive:
Finally I sent it back, because it was not working on another housing too.
I've bought new battery in rounded.com and i have the same issue, i think is battery cocnenctor problem (in my case).Mine came yesterday. Assembled it and put on charger, but the phone does not indicate charging. The notification light is not working, and there is no charging indication most of the time. Today it shut down although the battery was around 50%
Do I need to calibrate the battery somehow after mainboard change? How?
It came with 7.1, which I updated to 8.1 via official OTA. Have not unlocked it yet. Fully stock.
I'm waiting for mine to come too. Seller says that those boards won't bootloop, I don't know for sure, but from the Aliexpress feedback it seems that no one got a bootloop so farI also recently bought one, I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Do you know if these boards also bootloop eventually?
The issue was with the motherboard. My battery is stock. I also tried it with another 5x with same results.[GS said:;76682508]I've bought new battery in rounded.com and i have the same issue, i think is battery cocnenctor problem (in my case).
battery connector have 6-8 pin, some of this pin are for battery level metter!
I have bought as well 2 MB from Ouidini store/Aliexpress - once 2 devices in family died in about month difference and just after warranty period 2 years expired, I ordered 2 MB in March 2018. Till now they sent already additional 4 MB, once all of them died in shorter or longer period. From the first order they refund some money, for the second one (I asked for it as well, once phone died this Sunday) the still try to push me to agree on sending additional MB.
I am sick and tired already about sending broken MB to China and exchanging in phones - I do not recommend to buy these MB at https://oudini.aliexpress.com/store...0010108.0.0.732d7a5erTax98&shop_ab=itm2home-2
Do not waste your time and money for this and deal with death of your device.
I am very curious if this is a hardware fault, or something with the June and July security patch from google. Both of my devices died at the same time. Your devices died after july update too?
My simpthoms:
- With June patch all of a sudden, the devices frooze and rebooted. After restart same thing happened continously until the point, that they won't pass the google boot logo (same as BLOD)
- Phone shows red "Device is corrupted" message even though bootloader was never opened.
- Updated to July patch via bootloader mode with full official firmware. Had to unlock the bootloader after every restart because the mainboard is rma. System started, but after an short time same freezing happened.
- Now the devices won't even turn on. After a day of charging the red led blinks, so i keep on the charger for additional day. IF the devices turn on, they display full capacity, then freeze again, restart, and stops on google logo.
- When I turn them off, I can not turn back and have to repeat from the previous point. (charge for 2 days)
As soon as the replacement arrives, I will change the rom to lineageos and see what happens.
Since LG didn't officialy sell N5X in my country, I have found a place who fixes G4's bootloop issue. I've asked them how they fix the problem, they told me that they change the soc (cpu+ram) with a brand new one. So my question is; since they have the same cpu (SD808) If they replace N5X's soc with G4's brand new (3GB RAM), will it recognize and work or they have some differences?
Did you buy the motherboard from the Ouidini Store? I received mine a few days ago (which has been fine so far) but there are reports above of the Ouidini boards also boot looping. This is a pain because I asked the seller if they were "bootloop resistant". I guess I should have expected that answer. It should work like this. I have bought a tweaked nexus 5x motherboard on Ali express and vendor just reballed the SoC (CPU sd808 without bootloop problem + 4gB ram) and it's working for me since 6 months.
Is the replacement board still working @dinindourden?I received 2 mainboards from oudini.
One died after 2 days, the other one died after a month.
Both looks like blod. At the beginning the system starts, but freezes and reboots after some stress (e.g. browsing, photography)
Then it won't even boot.
Told him about the issue, and he sent a replacement.
Maybe I was unlucky, but maybe the upgrade does not fix the blood issue.
How many Ouduni motherboards died in total one282? Have they given you any refunds or only replacement boards? I think it would be a really good idea to leave a 1-star follow-up review on AliExpress to let other potential buyers know. I recently bought one because of the great reviews; if I had known these issues I wouldn't have.

Okay, thanks for the feedback. How many boards did you buy from the Oudini AliExpress store and how many failed?Till this time I received 5 mother boards. First one (after first stop working) I sent back together with 2 additional broken ones from two phones I have. Than received new ones. From first order I got money back - phone works but show faulty percentage of battery, phone does not charge fully. And last usually few hours on battery. For the second phone I received additional three mother boards. The lastly received one is still working (received 2 weeks ago). I use it now irregularly, I bought a new phone with warranty. I do not want to be again badly surprised with dead phone.
I wanted to add a bad feedback, but you have to add this no longer than 15 days after confirm goods receiving. And this time left already, when issues came.
Therefore I added my experiences here at least.
Hope you will have a better luck. Some guys here reported a working MB after 6 months.
Since i posted this post, i learnt something about the CPU from 5x, and how can it be upgraded, let me explain to you guys first. :highfive:
The packaging technique of 5x is using PoP, or package on package, which the processor package has pads on the top for the RAM chip and BGA on the bottom to attach to the PCB, its saves board space at the expense of assembly cost. This simply means the RAM sits on top of the SoC.

As fixing this bootloop issue, you have to remove the whole SoC+RAM block, so why not upgrade the RAM chip together?![]()

Just talked to the dude on WeChat, he confirmed RMB400 for CPU reflow and 4GB RAM upgrade.
I also made sense of his address in somewhat of an international format:
