Installation Instructions Deodex (Flashing)
Always make a backup before flashing this or anything else
1) Download zip and put on SD card.
2) Reboot recovery. Choose install zip from SD.
3) Navigate to zip file and flash
4)Reboot and enjoy. No need to wipe anything

Always make a backup before flashing this or anything else
1) Download 3rd party launcher (just in case)
2 Download zip and put on SD card
3)Use Root explorer (or your file manager) go to system/priv-app
4) Find TouchWizHome.apk and TouchWizHome.odex. Rename them to TouchWizHome.apk.bak and TouchWizHome.odex.bak
5) Reboot recovery. Choose install zip from SD.
6) Navigate to zip file and flash
7) (Recomended) Go to wipe/advanced and pick dalvik cache. Wipe
8) Reboot and enjoy.

Installation Instructions (Manual):
1)Download any other launcher from playstore. (Just in case)
2)Download zip and unzip. Put apk (and odex file if odexed) on SD card
3)Use root explorer. Go to system/priv-app. Find TouchWizHome.apk. RENAME to TouchWizHome.apk.bak (odex.bak for odex)
4) Copy apk (and odex) from SD to system/priv-app. Change permissions rw-r-r
7) Reboot

If you have an issue, or you don't like it, just delete modded apk and rename .bak back to TouchWizHome.apk and you will be back to stock.

I like the TouchWiz launcher and widgets. Not a fan of nova or adw.

As soon as I say anything about Touchwiz, the masses come in and tell me to use Nova. I prefer stock, just tweak the grid.. Any plans for a 5x5

Yes. If you are not rooted it will not allow you to replace system apps.

Me too. I really like touchwiz except for the wasted space. When I get a new phone, i just mod it. Problem solved. I can put together a 5x5. I will let you know when it's done. The next day or so.

There you go guys. 5x5 is on the main post. I added 1 grid to the hot seat as well. I've never liked the 5x5, but the screen is so big, I am going to keep using it. It is nice on the bigger screen.

5X5 seems to be working great, but I noticed that I lost at least one widget. I lost the one default widget that came preinstalled on the one page that gave quick access to heart rate sensor and other SHealth apps. At least I can't find it now :-/

It should be in widgets/ shealth. There are 2 widgets in the folder. I looked on mine and they are both there.
