I'm running the latest build of this ROM and is great only have one question, the nose suppression during phone calls doesn't seem to be working as I get a lot of complaints about background noise is this do to the drivers for attm7 for lp being unavailable at this time or is it something else?

I think I found another bug or two for you to squash. Certain apps are having a hard time displaying video. Snapchat stories play audio, yet stick on the first frame of the video. Trying to play YouTube videos within Reddit News is just as fruitful. A more major bug seems to happen within the camera. Ive randomly rebooted from the camera app numerous times. I can do this fairly consistently by rapidly messing with the manual exposure bugs. I have no idea what could cause these, but youre the smart one here.

Besides all that, the builds are coming out at an amazing pace and I'm thankful for the hard work youre putting in. Keep it up! This ROM is great.

Ok seems YouTube videos wont work within any app besides the official YouTube app. Just tried to watch a video from Google Play Music and it did the same thing it did when I tried to watch in Reddit News. It loads, pretends to play, starts loading again, and doesnt get anywhere at all.

Im having terrible usage experience, random reboots, no basic functions working like sending photos directly in whatsapp, and I could keep going on if I had written down the problems Ive encountered. No complains just info for you guys in case somebody is thinking about using this early build. I know it is one so Ill stay calm!

Hope to get the final version soon jiji

I am using the kernel you provided (nukernel).

How do I check firmware?

Well, I usually suggest to keep track of this as to what OTA or firmware you have flashed.
If you have not taken a 4.4.3 OTA or manually updated your firmware, it's likely old.
Do this in terminal:

Code:
fastboot getvar all

Block out your IMEI and Serial and paste the output
You can also check in hboot.
Hopefully you aren't using a Twrp which wipes the OS Main Version from hboot, or it won't tell us a lot.

Unfortunately I am using TWRP.

Here are some values from my "about phone" since I am not home, maybe it'll mean something.

About phone only tells me about your software and radio.
That does not really mean much.
Only the info I mentioned.
I already know your software version, this Rom.
That's not firmware. :)

Data is not working either.
I can record a video but whenever I replay it I get the following: "This video can not be played. Pictures are working fine.
Everything else is buttery smooth. Thanks for this.

Flashed it with TWRP 2.7.1.1 Can it have something to do with that?

Newest Update doesn't let me play videos, seems like a step backward. Had a couple of FC's then complete wipe and reflash. No FC's so far but still have the "Couldn't play video problem".

Been using this rom for a couple of days now. Just now i took my phone out of my pocket and i saw the cyanogenmod loading screen. All of a sudden my phone is in a bootloop. I didnt change a thing, i just got out of school, was using my phone like 10 mins ago!

Trying to fix it now by wiping the caches.. anyone else got a random boot loop? I never had it before so all advice is welcome!

edit: well, that didnt work..

edit2: got it working again.. was scared for a while though lol
my fix:
full wipe, restore backup from 12-05, wipe dalvik/cache, flash rom 12-05, fastboot flash boot image, reboot

Now, ofcourse, i'm very curious how this could happen all of a sudden!?

What are the main difference between this rom and the stock GPE("★ ☆ [ROM][5.0.1] Google Play Edition | Lollipop | v1.02 [12-06-14]" )?
Bug, smoothness,ecc... are the same???
wich one you advice me to flash?
thx in advance

    An early Taste of Lollipop...

Thought i would share some self compiled CM12 builds at least until Nightlies begin to appear in the coming weeks
I know some folks even prefer it in it's earlier stages of an OS update, as it tends to be more stock"aosp" like at that time.
Anyhow, i hope you enjoy it as is for now, though it appears quite stable.
All basic functions should be intact. But DO expect there to be bugs. This is an early build.
Credits of course go to the CM Team and Maintainers for all their hard work and Flyhalf for his input. :good:

Please do not post self-compiled builds in my thread.
Feel free to start your own thread, or make a user-compiled thread if that's what is desired.
I have no problems with anxious users who can't wait for me to compile my next one and they want to make their own.
But if everyone who does that posts their builds in my thread, it's no longer my thread at that point and I see no need for me to continue or try and support it.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation in this regard.

    Bluetooth issues are well known!
Please do not post about them or ask if it's fixed.
I will let you know and the subject has been beaten to death!

Official CM12 Nightlies can now be found here: LINK

    Download Current Unofficial Build:

    Unofficial CM12 m7 01-05-15

OTA updates are going to come as latest Official Kitkat CM11 build from CM Team, not Unofficial CM12 Lollipop from me.
Do not install OTA updates on this, flash them from the OP here only.

    Lollipop Gapps:
    *Updated

    PA Gapps

    Santod Mods Gapps

DO NOT FLASH with any encryption active!
These are Unofficial builds, compiled by me, the day of posting.
You understand that neither I, the CM Team, nor XDA are responsible for anything that happens to your device.

    Install procedure:

I use TWRP 2.7.1.2 for install
    1. Download the ROM and GApps then transfer to internal memory
    2. Reboot into Recovery Mode
    3. Make a backup of your current ROM
    4. Make a Full Wipe (System / Data / Cache / Dalvik)
    5. Flash the boot.img via fastboot (Only if you are S-ON)
    6. Select Install, browse to the location of the downloaded ROM
    7. Select the zip of the ROM, Flash the Rom
    8. Select the GApps zip, Flash the Gapps
    9. Once installation is complete, restart
    10. Profit!
    11. See post #2 about first boot and #3 regarding Root!

    I hope you enjoy! :good:

    Old Builds:

Please keep in mind, this is an unofficial build, some things may not work or have not yet been added.
So don't expect all the old customizations. This is currently much closer to stock android.
(Like it was when we first transitioned to kitkat as well.)
