The dialer crashing is now fixed in the newest build.

Just a few issues on kernel if I may:
1. What is the difference between the kernel in post 3 and the kernel supplied with the CM12 build? Is the kernel in CM12 just bog standard nothing amazing?
2. If I flashed the kernel in post 3, would I need to flash the kernel every time I installed a version of CM12?

You have to reflash the custom kernel every time as when you flag the rom it flashes the standard kernel, if you look at post 3 you can see the benefits of his kernel like doubletap2wake and logo2wake. And more CPU modifying options.

Thank you for the gorgeous and firmware for the fact that trying to fix it.
And also was surprised that the function import contacts from the drive works as assemblies and ports have not tried all had a flight.
I would like to hear from you on how much less battery keeps this rom compared to gpe?

Feedback after 2 days of using this CM12.

After 2 days of using CM12, this is the little problems I've encountered. Otherwise, it's a great ROM to be with.

1) camera takes an awful load of time to load up.
2) I can't seem to play videos, at all. May it be in my phone or from the web.
3) At times, the touch just completely goes unresponsive, as well as the physical buttons, and the phone restarts. (This happens even when I run light apps, my recent encounter was when I was scrolling through Instagram)
4) Contacts automatically gets un-synced several times from WhatsApp & Viber and such.

Other than these, I have not stumbled upon any other problems. Hope that my feedback could help the developer even in the slightest amount

Till then, great work! :good:

sorry for the noobish question, but is there any way to sync contacts like the sense based roms? I came from viperone and I rely on FB & Twitter for contact pictures, thanks in advance. Loving this rom btw, thanks for the social media update!

Thanks for the help, because of twitter I am using Social Contact Sync, is there any way to merge the contacts?

I can't say I know anything about Social Contact Sync, but I'd imagine that if you can merge them anywhere, it'll be in the join contacts option available when editing a contact.

Ok - My phone is still S-ON, which means I cannot simply install it through TWRP recovery. I would need to install through fastboot. I have unzipped the kernel in post 3 but cannot find boot.img. What do I need to do to get this onto my phone? Thanks

Only bug I have found so far is camera flash causes reboot, haven't tried flashlight but I assume it would do the same. Great Rom now with the improvements and video streaming fixes. Definitely stable enough to be a daily

    An early Taste of Lollipop...

Thought i would share some self compiled CM12 builds at least until Nightlies begin to appear in the coming weeks
I know some folks even prefer it in it's earlier stages of an OS update, as it tends to be more stock"aosp" like at that time.
Anyhow, i hope you enjoy it as is for now, though it appears quite stable.
All basic functions should be intact. But DO expect there to be bugs. This is an early build.
Credits of course go to the CM Team and Maintainers for all their hard work and Flyhalf for his input. :good:

Please do not post self-compiled builds in my thread.
Feel free to start your own thread, or make a user-compiled thread if that's what is desired.
I have no problems with anxious users who can't wait for me to compile my next one and they want to make their own.
But if everyone who does that posts their builds in my thread, it's no longer my thread at that point and I see no need for me to continue or try and support it.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation in this regard.

    Bluetooth issues are well known!
Please do not post about them or ask if it's fixed.
I will let you know and the subject has been beaten to death!

Official CM12 Nightlies can now be found here: LINK

    Download Current Unofficial Build:

    Unofficial CM12 m7 01-05-15

OTA updates are going to come as latest Official Kitkat CM11 build from CM Team, not Unofficial CM12 Lollipop from me.
Do not install OTA updates on this, flash them from the OP here only.

    Lollipop Gapps:
    *Updated

    PA Gapps

    Santod Mods Gapps

DO NOT FLASH with any encryption active!
These are Unofficial builds, compiled by me, the day of posting.
You understand that neither I, the CM Team, nor XDA are responsible for anything that happens to your device.

    Install procedure:

I use TWRP 2.7.1.2 for install
    1. Download the ROM and GApps then transfer to internal memory
    2. Reboot into Recovery Mode
    3. Make a backup of your current ROM
    4. Make a Full Wipe (System / Data / Cache / Dalvik)
    5. Flash the boot.img via fastboot (Only if you are S-ON)
    6. Select Install, browse to the location of the downloaded ROM
    7. Select the zip of the ROM, Flash the Rom
    8. Select the GApps zip, Flash the Gapps
    9. Once installation is complete, restart
    10. Profit!
    11. See post #2 about first boot and #3 regarding Root!

    I hope you enjoy! :good:

    Old Builds:

Please keep in mind, this is an unofficial build, some things may not work or have not yet been added.
So don't expect all the old customizations. This is currently much closer to stock android.
(Like it was when we first transitioned to kitkat as well.)
