Try to make ZIP Installer, it's not very hard ;)
All information is on XDA, all what I know is from XDA :D
Or try my installer, you will lose nothing ﴾͡๏̯͡๏﴿

?
I actually used flashtool to install the boot.img last night
Then it's what happened
1. It boots, but stuck at kernel screen.
2. Ok, the kernel got twrp, let me restore TA and stock kernel
3. Crap, it show error after i restore both thing. The recovery is half broken
4. No clue, I try to reboot anyway, stuck at kernel screen again. Not even recovery is here now. And since i cant reach the rom i cant use the recovery from rom either.
5. Oh I'm so f**ked now, let me install advanced kernel 13 from flashtool (proofed to be working few days ago). But flashtool show error this time, and the Z1 still stuck at kernel boot scrren as i try to boot
6. Back to basic, i download stock 5.1.1 ftf, trying to install kernel again. Error again
7. Real scared, Now i must keep my head clear of emotion to do the right thing :crying: :crying: . Well only thing i can try to do is to install the whole ftf. I thought it wont work, but it worked = =""
8. Finally boot successfully, I lose root and recovery anyway.
9. backuped game save and start from 5.0.2 all over again and to get prerooted 5.1.1 with recovery. Luckily I got a full backup few days ago

seriously I'm real scared of the trouble. Could u tell me if i did anything wrong from the very beginning??

Make nandroid backup of Your Rom, I recommend PhilZ Recovery, then flash Rom, I recommend Global-LTE ;)
Then my zip installer of Venkat Kamesh Kernel edited by me ;)
Then You will get Stock 5.1.1 MultiRom, without bugs, in theory :)

Until RockZ1L 5.1.1 will be released ;)

Step 5 gave you an error because restoring your TA backup locked your bootloader again, so you couldn't flash a custom kernel. Always flash full ftf when you encounter an error. Besides that, not much to be worried about. Read a lot before you do anything. Read, read, read, and read more.

If that's true, why cant i install the stock kernel?
As i thought if the recovery is functional, it would have restored the stock kernel too in the previous step

i installed v4.0 now and it's great now anyway

I use intelliplug, intelliactive governor , dynamic file sync, power suspend, row scheduler, aggressive multi-core power saving .
But it's not all, battery life also depends from apps running in background.
The best way to resolve this (for me) it's putting them to sleep .
For this I use Grinify and DS Battery Saver Xposed Modules ;)

And also have 20000 mAh power bank, it's helping when none power saver helps :D
I set your kernel setting (used intelliactive governor for all cores)
When i locked my device it freezed, and i forced to reset it by pressing power and voloum + button :( i dont know what did i wrong,i just set your setting

Hi

Can you please share your kernel setting!?

Thank you

Still using the same parameters, I use Titanium backup-restore method when installing new Rom ;)
Possible my device works better because of Linux SWAP Partition (virtual Ram memory).
I'm planning to make the init.d script which will repeat all commands executed by Paid RamExpander app and with the same parameters that I normally use.
I planned to make it for me, for Mounting Swap partition on boot, Ram Expander making it very slowly :(
And if it will work good than I will share this script installer with everybody ;)

Just made Swap Partition mounting init.d script and it's working much better then ZRam, but its not working like I want :(
RamExpander now starting much more faster.
Will try to improve it searching some threads on XDA related to this theme ;)
I think one or two days and We will have good script, for daily use :)
Will try my best to make it Really Good ;)

Edition :

Also found this thread, while was searching for missing commands…
It's good that people spending their time for explaining things :)
How To RamExpander ;)
It's old version tutorial, but you can have some idea what it is ;)

Finally finished LINUX SWAP PARTITION Mounting Script :D
To use it is required secondary Linux SWAP SD-CARD Partition (mmcblk1p2) and init.d script support ;)
All information on this partition will be wiped!
It's recommended class 4 or higher Micro SD-CARD!

:)

World you please open your own thread, it's very useful and running nicely on my device with 1 gigantischen Swap Partition.

Sent from my D5503 using xda premium
I am thinking about this, but first want to make the same installer for mmcblk1p3 and two for SWAP file on data and sdcard ;)
Bad thing that I'm very busy and don't know when will make all what I planted

Edition :
Or maybe will make one Aroma Installer with all of those things ;)

Edition 2 :

Also have new idea, but don't know how it will work
Will try to make Dual SWAP, it will be Really Unique Stuff :) , Swap file on Data partition and Swap partition on Micro SD-Card, by setting correct priorities between those theoretically it must work faster. But must try it ;)
Swap File don't work so fast like Linux SWAP Partition, but Our Data Partition is much more faster than my Class 10 Micro SD-CARD, so theoretically it's good idea, but must find the best priority values ;)
Just like with this script, I'm using SWAP virtual memory about 3 years and with different devices, that's how I found those parameters.
And other bad thing, I optimized this script only for Xperia Z1 running Android 5.1.1, but with devices of lower series and lower Android versions possible it will work bad, cache size will be too big, swappines value will be too big and more values will be too big for Device or Android Version ...

Also made RockZ1L MultiBoot Kernel Edition :D

With permission of Venkat Kamesh I want to share it with all MultiRom users ;)
But it will be available Only on this thread, because it's originally Venkat Kamesh Great Work!

Changelog :

LZMA Compressed MultiBoot Kernel with DualRecovery added.
Kernel logo changed.
Kernel boot led lights changed.
Recovery access keys changed for LZMA Compressed Kernel, vol UP-vol DOWN PhilZ recovery and camera button MultiRom TWRP.
Added black MultiRom TWRP materialized theme.
Added to installer (Optionaly) [NUT] XZDR edited by me, changed led lights and recovery access keys, vol UP Normal TWRP 2.8.4(to avoid theme conflict, there are different themes for 2.8.4 and 2.8.7 and this theme don't work with 2.8.7) and vol DOWN PhilZ recovery.
MultiRom v30 with Trampoline v14 added to installer, it's still f(x)Thaxorxx compilation :( because all functions works perfectly. Also preinjected Trampoline v14 Kernel sector, no need to inject MultiRom after Kernel installation. Also I don't think that many people know how to inject MultiRom in to LZMA Compressed Kernel ;)
Added MultiRom, Color Control and Performance Control apps.
Added my quick access to system, data, memory card and usb storages.

I tested all Aroma options with PhilZ and MultiRom TWRP recoveries, and Kernels with my Xperia Z1(C6903) device, everything works perfectly :)

Thanks to / Credit :
Venkat Kamesh for Great Kernel and Aroma Installer, thank You very much ;)
f(x)Thaxorxx for Great MultiRom Support Compilation.
[NUT] for XZDR DualRecovery.

Just finished Dual Swapon installer :D
It's work extremely fast :D
This is what I call real Performance :D
You already know the deal with second Linux SWAP Partition (mmcblk1p2) ;)
And my script installer will Automatically create 512Mb SWAP File on data partition ;)
So simple flash it and enjoy :D

Will it work on Stock 5.1.1? or its for Rock Z1 5.0.1? Also do we have to prepare our SD card, as recently u have given lot of download links on different Posts so its becoming confusing and Earlier u said ur not sure About the older Android Versions, that means it wont work if i want KK ROM to be my secondary?
