I'm sorry if I'm just rediscovering the wheel...

Just by accident I noticed that after the 5.0.1 upgrade in my watch I can switch easily among the normal, theater (I prefer to call it shower mode) and sunlight modes. If you double click the dial button you go into the theater mode. Double clicking again brings you back to the normal mode. Triple clicking goes to the sunlight mode.

no ota here...
sw remain at 4.4.w.1
wear v 1.0.5.1630507

must be the watch on charging craddle when checking ota?
The OTA comes regardless of whether you are on the charging cradle or not. But, when the OTA is being applied, you probably should put it on the charger then. Just because the update eats a lot of battery during its process.

Thanks. Problem solved. Unpaired from my one, paired it with my old sensation and then ota come... Don't understand...

Now paired it with my one and all is ok. V5.0.1.

leekeene: there is an app called Wear Music Control that lets you change songs etc with Spotify on your phone.
You need to start Spotify on your phone first though but then you can play, pause, change songs and so on. It is still very basic but better than none.
You can do that with the standard app. I want to say ok google play music and spotify starts

My update took 2 minutes only and it eats lest than 5% battery. I don't have to charge while updating.

Wow! I had not known about the double and triple clicking to change modes. That's great, especially for getting to sunlight mode. I was wondering how I got to theater mode accidentally - must have double-pushed the button somehow.
