I don't use FX explorer so can't say for sure, but I have never seen a file explorer that automatically changes permissions when you add or change a file.
If you want I can only assume that your file explorer of choice allows you to check what permissions each file has, so feel free to see if it is correct
If not, correct it if you want it to work

It's funny though because I never have to change permissions either for mine, when I copy over it shows same permissions as other files in the etc directory as well.

Anywhere and Everywhere

I have 2 screen shots around 12 mins apart. You be the judge if its worked out. Screen brightness at 50% and just browsing this thread in Chrome during that time. Installed the latest file version.

Thanks in advance to the developer and all that have participated in this project. Im hopeful battery gets better in the next few days for my Verizon phone.

Anyone have an indication if this is supposed to be installed on TMobile only devices?

Oh yeah, next time, can you include screenshots of the power usage of the apps also. It may have given us a clue to your power issues. If an app had suddenly jumped % when your battery started draining, that app may have been the real issue.
Sure thing I will do that later today.
Thanks in advance for your response and assistance.

Hey guys, don't think I have forgotten about the V10 users. I've been insanely busy with work the last several weeks.

ROM is on the back burner at the moment simply due to time.

Looks like you guys are doing a good job of answering any questions one might have concerning this mod - I appreciate the responses in my absence.

I will likely hold on to this device until we see a device with Qualcomm's 823 variant or later series. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere.

How dangerous is the dangerously version? The rom I use (xTreme) is very stable as it's very close to stock. I've only had a random restart once in my 3 months using it.

If this restart would happen to with the dangerously version, how bad would be the damage? Would I require a wipe or data, dalvik, system etc to fix it?

Thank you for your hard work!

Most of us are probably V10 users, would u mind testing? You can provide valuable info [emoji16] and it's easy to undo.

Lol I'll try it, but I won't be making any unexpected battery pulls to see what he meant by its dangerousness lol.

I'll also make frequent backups just in case it breaks my rom, yolo I guess ????

Doubtful you should have issues so long as on an 808 chipset, no problems with dangerous version on my end, warbeard has a great write up if you want to understand the potential issues, advice you take a quick look
But yeah, nandroids are the modders best friend

How much ram does your device have?
And the good thing about init scripts is you can go into recovery replace them if/when trouble hits.
