It's funny though because I never have to change permissions either for mine, when I copy over it shows same permissions as other files in the etc directory as well.I don't use FX explorer so can't say for sure, but I have never seen a file explorer that automatically changes permissions when you add or change a file.
If you want I can only assume that your file explorer of choice allows you to check what permissions each file has, so feel free to see if it is correct
If not, correct it if you want it to work

I believe so long as it's the MSM8992 SoC then the tweak will work. So you are good!Anyone have an indication if this is supposed to be installed on TMobile only devices?
Oh yeah, next time, can you include screenshots of the power usage of the apps also. It may have given us a clue to your power issues. If an app had suddenly jumped % when your battery started draining, that app may have been the real issue.Anyone have an indication if this is supposed to be installed on TMobile only devices?
Sure thing I will do that later today.Oh yeah, next time, can you include screenshots of the power usage of the apps also. It may have given us a clue to your power issues. If an app had suddenly jumped % when your battery started draining, that app may have been the real issue.
Good to hear! Question is, is it now sipping juice better than b4 the tweak? Here it is, honestly haven't used it much today. Mainly on standby a few calls here and there and some light browsing. The battery life it appears looks much improved.

Most of us are probably V10 users, would u mind testing? You can provide valuable info [emoji16] and it's easy to undo. How dangerous is the dangerously version? The rom I use (xTreme) is very stable as it's very close to stock. I've only had a random restart once in my 3 months using it.
If this restart would happen to with the dangerously version, how bad would be the damage? Would I require a wipe or data, dalvik, system etc to fix it?
Thank you for your hard work!
Lol I'll try it, but I won't be making any unexpected battery pulls to see what he meant by its dangerousness lol. Most of us are probably V10 users, would u mind testing? You can provide valuable info [emoji16] and it's easy to undo.
Doubtful you should have issues so long as on an 808 chipset, no problems with dangerous version on my end, warbeard has a great write up if you want to understand the potential issues, advice you take a quick lookLol I'll try it, but I won't be making any unexpected battery pulls to see what he meant by its dangerousness lol.
I'll also make frequent backups just in case it breaks my rom, yolo I guess ????

And the good thing about init scripts is you can go into recovery replace them if/when trouble hits.
