Let us know how you get on with that reset. I'm experiencing the same problem, when a call is answered sound emits from the speaker from the caller for a split second, when this usually occurs, the caller is unable to hear me. I hope a radio flash can fix this

Same Problem after reset. But i´ll try waiting for an first HTC Update.

Update rom to 1.09..

It is an official ROM that means you will not lose the warranty.

This ROME is intended to solve restart problems, wifi drops, calls problems etc.

Hmm, yes seems like it doesn't solve it, just had a call, same thing, only remedy for now is to select speaker on then off

I was thinking to install 1.09 to fix the issue :-(

I have to much apps installed on my titan, is it worth to install 1.09, do you feel other enhancements over 1.08?

Thanks

It doesn't seem like it has solved the problem. Im wondering if its an app causing the problem.

I have been using for 24 hours and can't say I can see and differences, will dig deeper to see if I notice any.

Is this still a problem for anyone? Since the recent software update I've had this happen once although am not sure if it was just a reception issue. Anyway I logged it with HTC Support as I have 2 days in which to return the phone, the below was their reply. Thing is I don't want to return it unless I really have to! Is this just the easiest answer for them?

I'm hoping it is a software bug as I think it is, but then if they're not gonna fix it....

I would advise if the device is new and you are still within the returns period to take the device back and exchange it for another HTC Titan. I apologise for any inconvenience caused to you by the phone.

+1 Don't know about few days (have only had this fone for 2 days)

But my voice is crystal clear to at least 4 ppl I spoke to today. However, I'll have to test it while I travel too. I was indoors today so might have stable signal or so.

This could be a carrier problem, because I experience some bugs with my new carrier that I didn't experience with my old. I used my old carrier for almost a week when I got my Titan, but when I changed to Telenor I suddenly experienced some issues.. The simcard is also box fresh so it should be in a ok condition. Really wierd you ask me, but it could be something to it...

I think this is a general phone 7 problem. I have an omnia 7 on Telenor and experienced this bug yesterday. My buddy couldn't hear me. Really annoyed that the HW/SW integration is so utter crap on phone 7, because I love the platform in itself.

I don't think it's a WP7 specific problem, because I also have a HD2 hacked with WP7 Mango and no problems what so ever on that one.. Again I think it's HTC's lack of good drivers and maybe a combination with bad carriers like Telenor..

guys,

i have the at&t version.

They are known to have bad service in my area. But its to the point where its jumping from edge, to 3g to 4g randomly and also completely loosing signal where it says no service. Also ha the touch screen freeze twice and not being able to answer phone etc. what fixed it was plugging in to zune

anyone having these issues

+1 on that.

My screen froze thrice today. That was while I had incoming call. And I had two random reboots too while the phone was in my pocket!
However other than that phone has performed exceptionally well!
