Tried Kies a few times - it doesn't work. I can't remember what it failed though.

Kies shouldn't be running when Odin has to work.
Do you have Kies on all of your PCs?
If yes, uninstall it on the one you want to use further for flashing.
Which Samsung device drivers are you using?
The ones from Kies or seperate ones?
I'm have only this installed on W10:
