WTF, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Can someone who got it to work post their entire build.prop so I can copy and paste the whole thing in? Maybe I'm fat fingering it, but I tried a few times and can't get it to work-stuck at 5 Gb.

either way will work. If you sign in with your existing account it will upgrade it to include the 50 free gb's, or you can create a new one.

yes. root is needed because the build.prop is in the /system directory.

This worked for me without root some time ago but it might still work.

Once you set up your account install this apk

Put in your account info and then hit the free 50g tab below it.

Then I checked and my 50g were there on my account. After that I
Changed the password on my account just to be safe.

I did this via my xoom fe by the way.

Didnt work for me, M601 Xoom Euro 3G with Tiamat 3,2 Rom.

Edited build prop, installed Box, signed with the box app and says 5 gb only :-/

Well I'm not rooted so I can't change the build.prop. change the prop the way it was and try it again.

Have both Xoom and Gtab, both Rooted. Did the Xbox on Gtab and worked great.
