50GB free from Box.net by editing your Xoom Build.prop

Still Working

Worked like a charm for me yesterday on my Xoom rooted and running the Team Eos WiFi ICS Nightly 35.

Didnt work for me, M601 Xoom Euro 3G with Tiamat 3,2 Rom.

Edited build prop, installed Box, signed with the box app and says 5 gb only :-/

use this as suggested by LaloHigh .... works without rooting and changing build.prop file

THanks, but I got it now. I removed the build.prop and replaced it with a modded one (basiaclly exactly the same) and it worked, instead of editing the file on place :-7

For me it's work too.

I have one HTC HD2 unrooted with Android and 50 Gb of space on Box.net.
After I change the file again with the stand values I still have the 50 Gb.

I got 50gb without doing this. The box. Net promotion is for *any* android device, not just LG. So, I'm not sure what this hack is supposed to accomplish. They won't give you a second 50gb

I was using the red-phx apk to upgrade box so I wouldn;t have to switch build.prop files, but had a feeling it would stop working on the 1st of January. Tested today and it doesn't work, so thank you for the post!

According to the box site, this should continue to work until September.

* The offer is valid from through 9/30/14.
