Which 5.1.1 is better?
i would definitely recommend upgrade.
After upgrade, reset your watch and that all you need.
I am using marshmallow 6.0.1 and i am not facing any problems.
And the battery seems to be lasting even more than 2 days with day today use.
Go for it! and if you also have a mobile with 6.0.1 then thats the best.
I am using LG g watch r + nexus 6P

I also have nexus 4 running Chroma MM. I will wait for OTA again and this time I wont factory reset to see how it goes
So OTA arrived again and watch is useless again. Guess I'll have flash 5.1.1 to the watch again and find a way to disable the OTA. I don't intend to flash stock lollipop to my Nexus 4 as it gave too many problems.

I've got the same problems with MM on the GWR and my Nexus 4 (with MM Chroma), watch isn't usable. I tried the new google play service with several combinations of resets of Watch and wear app,but nothing helped!

Hello!

Manually updated mine to 6.0.1 using adb and now my iPhone (9.3 beta3 and latest android wear app) constantly looses connection. Have to pair as new device, restarting phone and/ or watch won't help.
Does anybody experience the same?
Might have to go back to 5.1.1 ...

Also running 6.0.1 and iPhone 9.3 beta3 - no issues. Seems to be more stable than with 5.1.1 for me.
But: Prior to update, I did remove android wear app and made a factory reset on the watch before sideloading the update file (was trying to force OTA but without success).
Maybe this made the difference...

Thanx for your report. I've flashed 5.1.1 again but still losing connection after an hour or so. Sometimes the iPhone wants to reenter the Bluetooth pairing code.

Tried factory reset and re-installing wear app, but that hasn't solved the connection issues.

Will flash 6.0.1 again ...

I used the one at the top of the list. I don't know what the differences are between 5.1.1 versions
OK. And how can I enter recovery mode to flash it? How can I downgrade? Is everywhere a step by step writing for beginners? Because until 5.1.1 my watch did understand my language everywhere. Now in 6.0 just English is working...

While the LG Logo at boot is on screen, swipe from left upper side to right lower side to enter bootloader. To flash factory image use fastboot commands.

6.0.1 is still not working here. I've flashed 6.0.1 via adb, performed factory reset / cache wipe, re-installed android wear iOS app. It only works as long as the watch is connected to the iPhone. If connection is lost (out of Bluetooth range), it never reconnects.

Don't know what to do now, as mentioned above i tried 5.1.1 & 6.0.1 with a clean iOS app install and factory resetted watch, but once the connection is lost i can never re-establish the connection. Until 6.0.1, i never had any problems with LG Watch R and iPhone 6+. But now, even 5.1.1. isn't working anymore :confused:

I did reset after all update. On 6.0 my language's voice recognition is not working everywhere just in goggle search (is support everywhere to write this them?), but on 5.1.1 is working everywhere. So I flashed back 5.1.1 and everything ok. Of course I've got system update downloaded...

I was on the LeeDroid 1.3 rom so I flashed back to 5.1.1. factory images and let the watch grab the OTA

Everything is working fine on 6.0.1 however my watch has become very sluggish and battery life is wayy worse now... (17 hours on a full charge... I was getting near 48 hours before)

Wonder if I didn't do something right when I flashed back to 5.1.1? I did a factory reset through TWRP before I flashed back to stock which I believe reset the davlik and cache correct?

Do factory reset after OTA 6.0.1 update.
What was LeeDroid 1.3 like? Better battery, etc?
Interested thing: as I wrote I've flashed back 5.1.1 but heartbeat sensor didn't work... After OTA 6.0.1 update again sensor is working well just my language's voice recognition is not working on 6.0.1...
Yesterday I did chat with google support with this issue. I hope in next update will solve problem...

I would be interested to hear your results using the pure Nexus Rom. Would you mind to post here if you get the chance.
Thanks
It didn't work with pure rom. I talked with LG about the problem, the support said, it sounds like a hardware problem, i should send the watch to LG.

Finally i will update the watch for a last time and try to connect it with my untouched Nexus7 on MM. If this will not work, it's LGs turn to make me happy.

I have my doubts about a hardware problem as it works fine on 5.1.1. My guess is that there is an unknown bug in MM Nexus 4 Custom Roms when trying to connect to Watch 6.0.1
However, I am delighted to be proven wrong, I would like hear if anybody has successfully paired one of these MM Nexus 4 Roms with watch 6.0.1.
Thanks

New Post, new rom, new experience. I just tried BeanStalk 6.08 (CM based) and it works! Even after some reboots the watch keeps bluetooth connnection.
