New Post, new rom, new experience. I just tried BeanStalk 6.08 (CM based) and it works! Even after some reboots the watch keeps bluetooth connnection.

Gesendet von meinem Nexus 7 mit Tapatalk
Over in the Urbane watch forum, there are reports of success with CM13 also

Do factory reset after OTA 6.0.1 update.
What was LeeDroid 1.3 like? Better battery, etc?
Interested thing: as I wrote I've flashed back 5.1.1 but heartbeat sensor didn't work... After OTA 6.0.1 update again sensor is working well just my language's voice recognition is not working on 6.0.1...
Yesterday I did chat with google support with this issue. I hope in next update will solve problem...
LeeDroid uses the IntersectRaven kernel which I believe is the performance booster. He then basically ports the Urbane rom to the GWR and applied WiFi when LG did not officially support it. I like the rom a lot... I have been using it for almost a year. It is fast, smooth and I was averaging over 48 hours with a tamed ambient mode. He is working on a Marshmallow update and I will be using that once it becomes available so I may just end up dealing with this lack luster performance until then.

Gestures, voice, sensors, etc.. all seem to working perfect however.

I am paired to a Nexus 5 running the February 6.0.1 images (info in sig)

Hi,
How to disable automatic update from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1?
Thx
@promi, try this way http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62484004&postcount=710
It seems to be the only way to do the trick, but for 5.1.1 I neither test it by myself nor see any success reports.

LeeDroid uses the IntersectRaven kernel which I believe is the performance booster.
Yes correct. But intersectRaven don't announce his plans for GWR 6.0.1 custom kernel. :( And it's not possible to run stock 6.0.1 with current intersectRaven's kernel (20160202_17XX) because it lacks squashfs support.
BTW, it's possible to enable second core in 6.0.1 stock boot.img and got perfomace boost at the expence of some buttery drain.

I had problems with my nexus 4, MM Chroma and my lg watch r after the last update. They did not paired at all.
Problem solved by moving to Resurrection Remix ROM, also MM.
I'm not 100% sure if the problem was the ROM itself or the gapps (Must-be initially, open gapps now).

Since the update , the watch is always disconnecting from phone ! it's really annoying.
How can downgrade with an official rom ?
You can reflash stock 5.1.1 images via fastboot if your watches bootloader is unlocked.
Stock images are here http://intersectraven.net/stock/G Watch R/ or here http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-watch-r/development/stock-boot-recovery-g-watch-r-t2956964
Images are the same for both, but XDA thread is a bit more informative - there is a FAQ in second post with flashing instructions.

My problem seems to be related to iOS and not Android Wear. Had flashed every possible Rom for my G Watch R (even the Urbane Port), and every time the connection is lost, i had to factory reset the device. Just connected the Watch to my Nexus 7 (2013), and everything works as expected. Tried it with iOS 9.3 B3 & B4, but no success.

Another update form my never-ending problem story with LG Watch R and iOS after the 6.0.1 Update.

All had been fine using LeeDroid's Urbane Port (1.3) and iOS 9.3b4. But then the System Update Notification on my Watch appeared. Obviously, using LeeDroid, i can not update. And then i made the mistake of trying to flash 6.0.1 OTA Rom again. And still, the same problem as previously, the watch would not reconnect after having lost the connection.
I've updated my iP6+ to the latest beta (9.3b6) and am now flashing LeeDroid again..

Does anybody else have problems with Android Wear 1.4 (6.0.1) and iOS? I think it has to be related to iOS, since my Nexus 7 (2013) running latest stock rom does connect just fine to my LG Watch R, no matter if LeeDroid or Original Marshmallow Rom.

iOS user here, hello. I have the exact same problem since the update. Forced the OTA and now after initial setup i cannot reconnect to my watch, i have to wipe all data and then it works for once. But if i disconnect i cannot reconnect, really annoying!
I guess they have to update the Android Wear App to solve this problem.

iOS 9.3.1 with iPhone 5s.

Anyone notice that when the screen is in always on mode it likes to shut itself off now? It used to be the screen would shut off if I put the watch down after some time, but it seems they've made it way more sensitive. Now the screen will turn off while I'm at work, a place where I'm always moving and never sitting. It's annoying as hell, since this worked awesome before, and the whole point of the always on screen is that it's there when you need it.
