• If you are experiencing issues logging in, we moved to a new and more secure software and older account passwords were not able to be migrated. We recommend trying to reset your password, then contacting us if there are issues.
  • Nearly done! Migration cleanup is mostly done. There are a small number of issues left that we continue to work on, but all the heavy lifting is done. We still would love to hear feedback over at this thread and also check out the new XDA app! Thanks and we hope you enjoy the new forums, and thanks for your support of XDA <3

Hello all,
First i want to say that im not responsible for anything that may happen to your phone as a result of installing custom roms and/or kernels. you do so at your own risk and take the responsibility upon yourself.

I present you MarshMallow rom ported from N910G Official Rom based on N910GXXU1DPB6 firmware for your beloved Galaxy Note 4 (N910F)

In this port everything is working fine for me and ready for a daily driver.
I havent touched anything from the stock rom, only removed some apps wich is not usefull for your device. I let the bloat in the rom but you can debloat the rom yourself or with the Debloating Script here by @BattleHero

I will add slowly some new features in further updates, for the initial release i have only added S7 Touchwiz, Gallery and some Note 5 apps.

Requirements :
Download the port rom here
Modem and Bootloader can be found here
SuperSU here

Installation Instructions :
1. Update your Modem and your Bootloader to the latest one.
2. Take a backup of your efs folder
3. Boot into recovery and make a backup of your current rom
4. Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
5. Flash N910G MarshMallow Port for N910F.zip
7. Let the rom boot (THE ROM BOOT APPROXIMATELY AFTER 10/20 MIN AFTER)
8. Reboot into Recovery
9. Wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot
10. Flash UPDATE-SuperSU.v46.zip (If you want root)
11. Reboot and Enjoy MarshMallow.

Bugs :
All the known bugs of MarshMallow already reported on others Note 4 threads such as :
- Fingerprint isnt recognized at first boot but recognized after ;
- My Places app FC at first boot, if you dont need it you can remove it ;
- Probably more little bugs, report all of them here with a logcat if possible.

Thanks :
Thanks to @Albe95 for S7 Game Launcher and Galaxy Labs ;
Thanks to @poccy for S7 Launcher and Gallery ;
Thanks to @freeza for the leak rom ;
Thanks to @BattleHero for Modem and Bootloader collection ;
Thanks to @Pafcholini and EmotroidTeam for the MM Kernel ;

Thread reopened.

Only the developer of the supposedly copied work can report a kang. Any more public call outs will be dealt with by Moderation staff. Please read rule 12:

12. Using the work of others.

If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. If a dispute occurs about who developed / created a piece of work, first try to settle the matter by private message and NOT in open forum. If this fails, you may then contact a Moderator and provide clear evidence that the work was created by you.

Convincing evidence will result in the copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence that it was you who created the work, then in the spirit of sharing, all work will remain posted on the forums.

As an addition, developers have the right to hold exclusivity over their work for as long as it is deemed necessary by that developer. However, if the work is claimed as exclusive, it must remain as such. No selective sharing will be allowed (ie, allowing certain people to use it and not others). If the developer decides to start sharing the work with others, the work automatically becomes available for all to use, albeit with the relevant credit displayed.

When permission has already been given, unless there is a very valid reason, it cannot be revoked (same applies to major updates on the work). Under that same premise, permissions cannot be denied unless the work is exclusive or under extreme circumstances.

In plain English: If you want to keep your work exclusive, go for it. However, if you are going to share your work, do it fairly.

Reposted content, derivative or maintained works based on that of former or banned members may be removed at our discretion.

These rules apply to all software posted on XDA (including but not limited to ROMs, RUUs, apps, games, kernels, themes, icons, etc) unless that software comes with a license that waives these rules.

There is a procedure that must be followed. There will be no more discussion of this publicly, within this thread or warnings/infractions will be given.

Thank you,
