Hey guys sorry wrong thread couldn't find the right one , how do i know if i have cmw touch or recovery ?
my version is cmw based recovery v5.5.0.4 : CF-v1.5,
do i need to update it or anything before i flash AOKP mr 1 milestone 1 ?

That's the version included with CF root and is a very old version, I would update to the latest one.

Mine cwm is not touch because i have to use the hardware buttons, how do i update ? should i use Odin on my phone to do it and how ?

By the way, lads. I packed the latest cwm to an odin flashable tar file as well (googled to find the necessary commands, not just packing it to a tar archive)

Disclaimer: I haven't tested the tar file so if it doesn't work, don't blame me.

My odin is no option “Recovery”. Dont know why and cant flash this zip from CWM 6.0.1.2.

The recovery goes into PDA in PC Odin.

How to flash recovery.img or CWM_6.0.3.1-flashable.zip in Odin? PC Odin cant select a .img or a .zip file.

Those are .tar for Odin...

If posting something I made on the fly is a problem, I'll just remove it, I don't even own this phone.
