Any need of updating my XP to this firmware before updating to JB when it arrives?

I currently have B.1.54
What all improvements are there in B.1.75?

there are no significant changes between 1.54 and 1.75

i think you don't have to update your XP

No any improvement on .75 it's almost the same as .54 just the .75 is Generic World which will automatic set the time for you and include more bloatware inside that version.
