Totally agree

Have no plans on changing my Sensation this year, as it does everything i need.
All these 2012 Smartphones don't really offer anything that makes me want to change.

Love the phone! Had a iPhone a few weeks when my sensation was on service (dust inside the display, got a brand new display for free :))
After using a laggy iphone, I realized how much i love the sensation.

It's a sensation... Easy as that.

I am also running CM9 and got it clocked at 1ghz and hahaha even at this speed is super smooth.

I am really glad that we got CM9, it would be hard to get a phone that doesn't get CM9 support to be honest because these companies overlays are full of bloatware and drain battery super quickly.

The real problem with HTC phones is Sense. I got to have it at like 1.7 to be smooth but then the battery sucks really bad. Then if I clock down to about 1.2 which is when I notice a battery difference, it's all choppy and stuttery.

Just yesterday I played with an HTC One S and I don't really envy anything about it.

And I too feel the same way as a previous poster and that is that I don't feel the need to upgrade.

CM9 + Sensation= Fast, Smooth, Great battery life.

How do I get CM9? I haven't run Cyanogen since my G2X.

Go to the Android development section, the thread is called Open Sensation. Should be on either the first or second page.

Your phone needs to be rooted and S-OFF, and you need to have the ICS firmware. Flash through recovery after complete wipe, and enjoy. :)
