Sorry I didn't help you this time ;) but if esimon doesn't do a review of the mugen I will.. But I think him and another guy has that under control. I will be doing one for other sites hopefully. Also I had a conversation with mugen about how the att d850 version uses PMA technology to wirelessly charge so we will see what happens .... Thanks homie for your input

So im considering this battery and back case after selling my zero lemon battery as it was just way too bulky and heavy. How is this to hold in one hand? Looks like in pics to be just a lil bulkier where the battery is and rest remains the same..

It's thicker than oem of course. But only 3/5 of the back cover is. Zero lemon is all thick as I saw on pictures. I paid $25 and can't go back to stock. I only put it in on weekend hangouts, so the weight doesn't bother me too much :)

I just got my Mugen 6200 yesterday. It really isn't bad at all in size. It does add bulk but its not near as bad as you would think and probably not near the zerolemon. I can already tell I'll get 10+ he's screen on time and probably 2 days without having to charge

Thanks mate, yeh battery life im sure is good. Size is the issue for me zero lemon was heavy and big, this dosent look like too much of a adjustment from the original case. How does it feel in one hand?

would a bumper case fit?

Received a battery today. I uploaded 3 pics just to show it to the public.
I also measured weight of the phone:
+ without battery: 114g
+ with OEM: 162g
+ with Hyperion: 208g

Now I'm going to measure battery life for a few next days.

I put 2 dimes and 1 nickel to show an extra thickness. Check at home :)

I'm a heavy user and after one day I can say that this battery is outstanding. Normally I had to charge my phone at least once during the day. With Hyperion I used only 1/3 of juice. It compensate an extra bulk :)

I don't use NFC, so lack of it is not a problem for me.

Hi czaplin,

Just wanted to let you know that I really thank for the pics and review of the batt - I got off a similar 99% identical extended battery (as similar as yours) from Hongkong. While the battery is excellent and the extra bulge is not that noticeable, I wanted to know if a bumper case would fit the phone? (slide-in metal frame).

Reason for this is because I really already want to use this battery for my daily driver but then I am worried that one drop of my phone in the pavement might dent the sides of the phone ( I really don't care about the OEM custom case if it gets scratches -- so my only concern is to get a metal frame case or bumper case as they would call it). Would it still fit given the size of our custom back case?

Let me know if you have some comments (or how you protected your LG G3 with the custom back cover).

I was thinking of getting something like this though I am not entirely sure if it does fit in our phone with custom battery.

Hi,

I feel your pain, but I have no idea if the bumper will fit on the phone with extended battery. At this moment I have only screen protector on it. And I'm worrying about corners too. But for this battery life I can trade off a bumper or case :) One day of heavy use when stock battery was dead in the middle of the day.

It will not work. I got a plastic bumper like this style. Unfortunately it wont work. The only thing you can do is to put a glass screen protector.

I couldn't find the hyperion in europe, so I got the 6000mah akku-king from amazon Germany. The design is identical and I an testing it now. If I like it, I'll consider cutting off part of the back of my hybrid case to make it fit- the phone is SLIPPERY without it.

Its exactly the same battery. There arent any differences expect the brand. They are all produced in China.

Good luck modifiying the case. I tried it already and it didnt work.

Guess we got to live whit the case.

6000mah battery

Hey guys. Did anyone have an issue with device temp while running this battery? Any noticeable decline in performance of device or new battery over time?

Don't think this has been asked yet, but can anyone confirm if this works for the D855 International model? I saw here ( http://www.amazon.com/Extended-Batt...e-International/dp/B00NLJAEJO#customerReviews ) there's a review from a guy with a D855 and he says the phone won't accept the battery, only the OEM one but the title of the battery says "Compatible with all US and International Models" so I'm a bit confused.
If someone with an International G3 has one and could let me know if it's working fine, would be MUCH appreciated, I'm keen to squeeze more battery out of my G3! :D
cheers
