3000 mAh battery (stock and TrendOn brand) versus Hyperion extended 6000 mAh batteries comparisons. First three days I was running an unofficial AICP ROM. Today I was running a stock based T-Mobile ROM.
Typical day is me unplugging my phone at around 6:30 AM. I'm a pretty heavy user and I usually swap batteries anytime between 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Had a pretty busy day at work the first day so phone lasted well until 4:00 before I needed to switch batteries. Second day it didn't last as long, but I had much better screen time.
I do a lot of Google+, Instagram, Twitter, and Tapatalk mostly with some web browsing and Hangouts usage and some light games (Chess and Matching with Friends). For this four day run, my usage has been more or less the same except for today when I was setting up this ROM.
Third day (first day with the extended battery), I had the best battery life. Lasted pretty much the entire day (plugged in at 10 PM) and almost 8 hours of screen time. Safe to say this battery is able to last me an entire day with my usage, especially if I plop it on a wireless charger while at my desk (I didn't for the sake of testing).
Final day was unimpressive compared to yesterday. Easily lasted me until I got home and with some time to spare for a couple of hours before needing a charge, but the battery stats are saying my screen on time is barely better than some of my best days on a slim battery. Maybe stats are wonky due to flashing this ROM at some point. Still, lasting for over twelve hours for me is a huge improvement. I can always plop in a slim battery if I need more life or just top the charge off a few times during my work shifts.
I'd recommend the battery, but the battery door cover is extremely cheap feeling. Mugen back cover feels so much more nice, albeit a bit slippery, and it is NFC and wireless charging capable.
