64 bit Roms

Hi all,

I have heard that Motorola uses 32 bit software even thought the snapdragon processors are all 64 bit now. Some developers have also started making 64 bit ROMs for the moto g5 plus. How would the 64 bit rom benefit the moto g5 plus over the 32 bit rom. Would the geekbench scores slightly increase, or the app start up time would be faster or the moto g5 plus would use more battery? Thanks.

From my experience I can say that ValidusO 64bit is as smooth and battery friendly as ValidusO 32 bits.
Only big advantage for me is that Google Camera HDR+ works on 64bit ROMs.

Ok thanks! So will the Google camera apks from APK mirror work on the g5 plus running a 64 bit rom. Also did you see any difference in geekbench or antutu scores?

I saw a 3000 point jump on the Antutu scores with the 64 bit XenonHD rom vs using the 32 bit Pixel experience rom. never tested geekbench
