I can't select the boot, system and data partitions required to install the DU files in TWRP. They just don't show up in the restoring menu and giving me "no partitions selected for restore" error when I try to install. I do see the partitions when I restore the backup made in TWRP (latest official)

What am I doing wrong...

Is it possible to use Magisk in your ROM to get root+xposed and have ability to hide root from some apps?
If yes - what will be the difference with case from message #3?
Or maybe exists other abilities for hiding root in your ROM?

@wzedlare: thanks for bringing us this rom! It was my favorite on my old Moto x play, and I've just gotten clearance for unlocking my bootloader, so I'll definitely give it a try. A question about the performance: in the LOS14.1 thread, I read about the optimizations in the area of performance and battery life coming with the latest build. Does this rom also feature such optimizations, and if so, could you elaborate on what they are? I've just gotten this phone and trying to get to know it

Installed the rom today, sometimes music will have a loud underwater like sound, skip one song, music equalizer force closes, sound seems fine after that. Tried rebooting, issue still persists.

Rom runs smooth as butter! Only thing I miss now is the stock way of handling navigation, using fingerprint/physical home button for navigation (tap: back, hold: recent apps, press down: home, long press: Google app). Maybe with some DU customization, because the press down is already usable.

It is indeed doable. I have my home button setup as:

Single tap action: Back
Long press action: Recents
Double tap action: Home

Took some getting used to, of course.

Well, those improvements are not on the kernel, they are on the ramdisk.The ramdisk were based on another device but now it is based on p2's nougat ramdisk.This is why it made roms smoother, more batter-friendly and stable.

Yeahhh... this happened to me on Spotify. I think it might be more calm now, listened a lot of music without the issue.

i havent listened to music on my p2, so didnt notice the problem mentioned above

i have found these things a little annoying :
1) call volume is less when compared to stock, i had to goto calm places to talk phone while outside..
( i used to have MotoG2015 , some roms used to have Sound boost while having conversation in call - it would solve my issue, but i dont know what is the dialer app used in those ROMS)
2) FP sensor is giving up sometimes, i didnt touch my phone for 4 hours then i tried unlocking with FP sensor but it didnt work..
maybe DOZE is causing this issue..
3) i miss STOCK gapps ;( the launcher provided doesnt have Google when swiped to left ... and OK google function cant work from ANY SCREEN

if anyone knew the solutions to my annoyances , please feel free to guide me

I've been able to use OpenGAPPS 7.1 (nano) without any problems or bugs, but YMMV.

Hi, did you wipe INTERNAL also ?? dont wipe internal ( i have heard somewhere wiping internal will cause some issues)

perform Wipe dalvik/cache after each zip installation, and Follow the order ..
try again, i had success with this, so you will also get it to work ..

I did wipe the internal storage once.
And unfortunately what you suggested couldn't fix the problem either. :/

Hi, if you are coming directly from STOCK OS , then you will face such problems , dont know why !! but i too had faced them..
it gets Stucked at BOOT IMAGE sections always..

Do onething..
Download any other ROM : AICP recommended, let it boot and if you are sure about working of AICP rom .. then try this ROM (CLEAN INSTALL - dont dirty flash)

My bug report V2:

- Music/equalizer problems occur on reboot, after that it's fine.
- Voip (video)calling is not working on fb messenger and whatsapp
- can't take video's it just shows a screencap of where the video started and freezes, audio works. This issue is on camera apps, inside whatsapp, but not on Snapchat
