  • Nearly done! Migration cleanup is mostly done. There are a small number of issues left that we continue to work on, but all the heavy lifting is done. We still would love to hear feedback over at this thread and also check out the new XDA app! Thanks and we hope you enjoy the new forums, and thanks for your support of XDA <3

Code:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.

A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…

Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

Read ChangeLog before ask what is changed?

What is working?

  • Built-in TWRP
  • TWRP 3.1.1-0 available for Z5 NOW! -> xda Thread

  • Single Sim / Dual Sim
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • FM Radio
  • ROOT for ADB and Apps

What is the difference?

RELEASE : Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY.
NIGHTLY : Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs.
HISTORY : Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL : Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback.
UNOFFICIAL : Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.

Q & A

1-) TWRP gives error, how can we solve that?

You wiped all partitions including /system so zip couldn't verify your system, so delete updater-script first lines till ui_print line.

Benchmarks (z5 device)

  • AnTuTu
  • Geekbench
  • Basemark X
  • Quadrant
  • Androbench
  • Pemark
  • Meteor

To those who would like to get TWRP to recognize microSD card, use the latest TWRP image posted in LineageOS14 and manually flash that into recovery after mokee is flashed. Works great.

Now if the aux problem can be resolved, this ROM would be super solid for my use.

Failed flash on Z5 Premium E6853: Error 7. With Fastboot I tried flashing boot.img extracted from the zip, but the phone stuck on the Sony logo. What is the correct procedure? Now I'm up. 33 stock.

You wiped system. Delete first line (assert) of updater-script file.

Extract only updater-script file, edit with Notepad++ then put this into zip, if asks change the file.

/META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script

Deleted the first line of updater-script, saved the edit and closed the zip, but after the flash, a red alert appeared on TWRP that warned me that I was without an operating system , so I reset a previous backup.

Deleted first line updater-script, saved and closed the zip. During the flash a red warning alert informed me that I was without an operating system.
So I installed a previous backup of the ROM stock.

I apologize for the double post!...
